i really love the food and the employee's, and the original owner's son is okay. i just don't like the fact that tony, the owner gives names to customers. i especially hate the nick name he gave to me. this is one reason i only eat there about once every couple of months. tony should get to know regular customers real names, and quit with the derogatory names he gives customers.

good stuff. good service...good dogs...get the russian and the chicago you wont regret it....only downside was the wait but it was lunchtime what can you do.

omg when i hear someone say lipumas my mouth starts to water. i love their tacos and cheesy fries, i never get tired of eating the same thing. i should try their hotdogs but i just love the tacos!! haha

my boyfriend and i went there today we got the coney dog, chili, taco and coney fries. i loved everything but the chili with beans. i loved the beautiful patio overlooking the river. we will definatly be back!

omg! best dogs anywhere! a slice of food heaven ! tony the owner & guys there are the best! there needs to be a reward if u have one each dog not necessarily on same seating

not just great food in a simple setting, but the attitude, energy and friendliness of the people working here is great. my kids love tipping here with the continuous ringing of bell and cheering everytime.

awesome. this place is perfect in the summer. get some delicious dogs and go down to the creek to eat. service is quick and friendly. only real drawback is the cash only thing. their slaw is very good. get it on one of your dogs. the coneys are not bad. better than the chains, not as good as downtown. fries are hot and tasty. this is place is delicious. go there now!

local legend. for a coney/taco joint, i love it. especially when you can sit outside.

i'm from texas so i haven't been exposed to the whole coney thing, so my father in law brought me here to "break me in". the coney has great and so where the fries, the taco.... not so much. but i know what real tacos should be. i will go back for the coneys!

qa: don't look here, get a dog!. is it small? yes, but it's got a deck and a whole flipping park behind it..
is is busy? yes, alot of the time - they are pretty fast tho.
is is some shafty parking? yes, walk if ya can.

do you deal with the above and love it? yes.
is it some *great* friggin chow? yes. do it. do it now.
should you put chili on the fries? (are you mentally injured?) yes.
do i have them put cheese on stuff? other than fries, meh.
do i get all the non coney dog stuff? some good, some great., some meh. get a coney, then experiment.

love lipuma's. the coney's are great, the tacos aren't bad either. but the owner and employees really make the place. you always feel welcome at lipuma's -- even if they poke fun at you. will keep coming back -- and tipping....

best coney place i've ever been to. bias? sure but i've yet to meet a person that doesn't love lipuma's!
