cutest little cafe that screamed garden sanctuary vibes! situated right next to a car park so the location was great. all the table seatings are located outside which is perfect when it's nice and sunny. we ordered the mediterranean breakfast, the chicken katsu burger, a mocha and ice tea.
firstly, the burger was served on an 'activated charcoal bun'. unsure what benefits or additional flavours it brings to the burger but it tasted great! the chicken was crunchy and nicely flavoured, just the right amount of sauce and it didn't fall apart.
the mediterranean breakfast was executed beautifully on a traditional plate. overall it was nice but the saddest part was how tiny the lamb sausages were.. i thought they would at least serve up a few more pieces but the only source of meat was the 4-5 tiny size sausages.
bill came to approx $50 which is decent for brunch!
update 26/8: i visited again over the weekend and this time ordered some new dishes. i ordered the wagyu burger, lil miss collins hot cakes and the pumpkin & halloumi salad. the highlight for me was definitely the hotcakes! it was cripsy on the outside but super light and airy on the inside. the cake soaked up all the maple syrup so it was so sweet and delicious, not to mention super pretty! the salad was refreshing which definitely was a great cut for the palette from the succulent juicy beef burger!
