thought we would have a quick lunch....and we did... lots of tasty food... but once it arrived, we were abandoned ... finally tracked down server for check so we could move on.

the beer selection left something to be desired, but the grounds and the restaurant seemed like a very cool space.

did i mention the view?. this reflects directly on the liberty house as a catering facility. i was recently working in liberty state park and the meal was catered here. the food was fantastic! they elevated the typical tv crew lunch table to a new level. an awesome spinach salad, ziti, eggplant rollatini all the typical fare but so good. top it off with some brisket that you could cut with your fork and i was very happy! did i mention the view? the panorama of lower manhattan spreads before you featuring the nearly completed freedom tower. breathtaking.

i can't wait to bring my family back for dinner. i just loved the vibe in the place. all of the staff was so friendly. the decor is gorgeous. and did i mention the view?! from the other reviews here it sounds pricey... but they seem to deliver bang for the buck.

food is good, view is great.

great view of manhattan, too. excellent service. high end accommodations. excellent garden area just east of the building with lots of seating and ideal night time views of the buildings in the distance.

we had the porterhouse steak for two ($75) which was good, but we've had better at home. if you get that dish, ask for medium rare. we asked for medium and got medium well on about half of the meat. the mac and cheese side dish was really good, as was the asparagus.

great value! romantic, nice views, and amazing food. i have spent many special events there with great memories
