wtf happened to lefty's?. my boyfriend loves lefty's pizza, and the new mission hills location is on the way home from work, so he asked me to call in an order last week. the stuffed pizza with spinach, mushrooms and elephant garlic sounded tasty, and my mouth watered while i waited over an hour - the prep time required for this monstrous pie. when we finally got it home and tore into it we were both sorely disappointed - the crust was bland, and the spinach was soggy. overall it was pretty sad. we thought for sure it would taste better the second day (as most pizzas do), but it was just soggier. the mess cost $30, so i tried hard to just grin and bear it, but we finally just threw it out. i am confused and disappointed. i'm not sure whether it's the new location, the style of pizza, or if they were just having a bad night- but i'm in no hurry to investigate.
