food wonderful, service offhanded. my wife and i made our first visit recently for an anniversary brunch. i was pokey in making our selections which, along with our being neither young nor hip, may have relegated us to our server's back burner. lpt was doing a land office business at the time, which may have been the issue. anyway, we had a marvelous meal. i had a triangle salad and a smoked salmon omelette, and my companion had chicken and mango chutney crepes. we shared a nice, moderately priced bottle of wine. it is obvious that the kitchen works very hard on everything: menu, ingredients, execution, presentation. we thought we received excellent value and want to return soon, maybe on a quiet weekday.
