i had better..... i went there for lunch yesterday and i got the wings special. the wings were good a little greasy (but they were fried what do you expect) and the mac and cheese was swimming in grease and oil and tasted like it was made with some really really cheap cheese. i was not impressed at all, especially with all the good reviews i've heard about it. i will try again b/c i don't want to lose hope.

"so-so". their food o.k. , but their macaroni and cheese tastes kinda like fish. but the fish and soul food part is excellent.

best soul food in southwest charlotte.. as far as i know, it doesn't have much competition in southwest charlotte, and it's not the best in charlotte, necessarily, but it's pretty tasty.
