comme si comme sa. i've had better. the french bread on the sandwich is so tough everything squishes out the side with every bite. and no sides are offered- no soups, salads, or pasta salads. very limited menu and the lunch combo doesn't include all individual desserts shown. very pricey. i love french bakeries but this one was slightly disappointing. if you want something like a boulangerie patisserie in paris would offer- pretty desserts and a few sandwiches then this is similar in that way.

authentic french bakery. this bakery is the perfect authentic french bakery. we are french and we were pleased to stop by and had some authentic french pastries. we tried and really liked napoleon, chocolate eclair and almond croissant. the almond croissant is the best one that i've had so far in wa. we were not surprised to learn that the owner is french, the pastries look and taste like the ones in france.

very yummy but go early before they run out. also, the earlier you go the more likely to have the owners working there.

hands down the best french bakery i have been to in western washington. i am french and this bakery rivals even bakeries in france. absolutely perfect palmiers, great napoléons, fresh croissants, amazing cakes, etc. it's no surprise though, since the baker is also french. i've tried the french bakery next to pike place market, also the one on 45th near the u district. neither come close.

i live the espresso eclairs and the mini fruit tarts. i've only had lunch there once (quiche) and it was terrible. the lattes are mediocre. the pastries and bread are what keep me coming back.

can't get enough!. a friend told us about this place so we dropped by one day and fell in love with it. we've started a new "tradition" of coming here sunday mornings for breakfast. the croissants and desserts made fresh daily are simply amazing. lunches are great too. prices are very reasonable. the staff are very friendly and attentive. about the only negative i can think of is that it's tiny with limited seating. if a table isn't available when you arrive, just be patient and one will usually open up rather quickly... the table turnover is pretty fast because this isn't a dinner restaurant. it's good think we don't live close by or i'd be tempted to stop by daily!

great pastries. love this place! love the great croissants and french bread! esp love their lunch special(chicken sandwich with avocado). my favorite is the mixed fruit tart. fresh ingredients and its not too sweet. i've tried some of their cakes. they are too rich for me although they all look so beautiful! service is great! i found some reviews criticizing the place not being children friendly; i say to these people the world doesn't revolve around your kids if they are unruly and can't sit still they should not be outside your house! the owner has every right to protect her property and her business. how would you like to clean the glass on that showcase several times a day? i bet if that glass is full of dirty handprints from those brats and touching everything, you would comment on how dirty the place is!!! the cafe is not a playground teach your kids some manners!
