best pizza this side of new york

so many choices on great big single slices! i had one that was ricotta, jalapenos, pepperoni and pineapple. delish! and i don't usually like pineapple on my pizza. don't skip this place.

they offered a delicious thin crust gluten free pizza. not sure what they do to make it taste so good but it was great. service was good and it was busy. definitely heading back there when i'm back in town.

had one night in san diego, and went by zomatos rating of where to eat in little italy.. landinis had a good high rating, and good reviews.
i dont think the people who have eaten here have taste buds. the pasta (cabonara) was ok... the pizzas (pepperoni, and a spinach/ricotta) were the worst ive ever tasted.
to be fair - for the cheap prices i guess you cant expect much more. and a 50c soda is a good deal.

thanks zomato users for failing us on this one.
we will now be going for a walk up the street to find somewhere worthy of dessert.

sorry but i wont be recommending this one to any of our friends who travel here.

one of my favourite places in sd for authentic italian pizzas. i happened to find this place one busy afternoon when i was just trying to grab something to eat and quickly get back to my work, and oh boy what a find it was. since then i've visited this place a couple of times. the best thing about this place is the vfm for the food you get.
i'm a hard core carnivore, but i must say the veg options that they serve here is a delight.

things to try -
spinach ricotta pizza, buffalo chicken pizza
try the $8 pizza combo(2 slices and one drink)
all in all a great place to have some really great italian pizzas.

very filling and tasting italian cuisine. the food tastes authentic and the pasta tasted like a nice home cooked meal. everything was very rich and flavorful, with great pricing and a cool back patio!

you have a lot of variety for veggie pizzas too. this is what i would like to tell you before anything 😀
you can order single slices as well, this is really great as you get to choose and taste a lot of variety. the place is really small, it's advisable to take away rather that eat there.

the pizzas taste ok, just like every other pizza store these days.

and it is really really tricky to find a parking. we parked half a mile away and walked to the pizzeria.

although authentic pizza is available throughout the little italy neighborhood, it is rare to find a location that sells by the slice.

so bad. maybe i just don't like new york style, but this is easily the worst restaurant pizza i've ever eaten. if you are a hardcore thin crust pizza fan, then maybe you'll like it, but if you're not sure, go elsewhere. the crust is inedibly hard, there is way too little sauce, and it just ends up making you wish you could eat a real pizza. totally unsatisfying. if you're nostalgic for food that reminds you of the great depression, then go for it.

best in sd. my favorite in sd when you take price into consideration. they always have a special going for a beer and slices, salad and slices, ect.

all i can say is wow. ate there tonight for the first time. the pies were real brooklyn style pies with thin crusts and tons of flavor. went there with a good friend from work and we were both floored with the quality and the price was awesome (2 slices with a coke was 6 bucks!!)

if you want ny style pizza in san diego, this is it. thanks to fdny museum guys that ordered this for the wounded warrior guys. it was great, great pizza very very good.
