viewers please read if considering to visit this place as its run by besharam and begheret people, this place should called lahori gandh, we popped in yesterday evening for a family meal for 3 people a decided to order some fried fish and the famous 1 kilo lamb karahi, i can honestly say this is one of the most shocking restaurants we have ever dined at and would not recommend to anyone. the service itself was not bad, the surprise came when the fried fish arrived the whole 6 little pieces suitable for children i guess and priced at £8.99 per portion which was discolored as if it had been fried in old dark oil and looked and tasted revolting, now for the main course i'm sure readers are going to be excited to read about this and i will put it in capitals so the owners take note too. we ordered the famous 1 kilo lamb karahi which was presented to us with roughly 7-8 pieces of meat floating in a thick dark sauce which is a classic touch of restaurants using ready made old masala to cook meat in, now the dish itself had an average taste not good or bad in between to be fair with the sauce had a thick pungent smell of ginger maybe to hide the fact it was old ready made masala, now for the the main point we came to pay for our vile meal and i spoke to the guy on the till and stated that was not 1 kilo of lamb as advertised and he clearly smiled at me and said well obviously we aren't going to give you 1 kilo of lamb to which i made him explain his answer to me and he stated you pay for the weight of the metal karahi within the weight level of the meat, after hearing this shocking revelation i was gobsmacked and paid my bill and walked away in disgust as this is a breach of mis-selling and false advertising. unfortunate for this restaurant i have plenty of legal knowledge of what is right and what isn't and this place happily charge you for something they don't deliver, i feel like reporting you to a higher being but i'm not going to as i hope you read this and have some sharam in what you are actually doing. you ruined our evening yesterday by serving us mediocre tasting food and charged us for something which you didn't supply. i can honestly advise people avoid this restaurant as the food is in dire need of a decent cook and do not purchase anything by weight including the 1 kilo lamb karahi as your paying for the weight of the karahi and not the meat, this is how low our people have become and complain about being persecuted. avoid this venue at all costs disgusting food and would highly recommend mcdonalds as a alternative.
