food was great. just wish it was in more eco-friendly, less chemically laden take out containers. hot soup & sandwiches in cheap plastic bowls & styrofoam boxes. dine in next time, i guess.

the ladles is a great place for soup and a sandwich. tomato basil soup was great and the blt was extremely well made with plenty of bacon

the employees seem always behind and very harried. never enough people working it seems like. had awards card to use from last year but they wouldn't take them. used to love this place but no more. always seem to be out of greek lemon chicken soup. soup and sandwiches are pretty good, but their counter staff and efficiency is terrible. long waits for food. person who rings you up has to do five other things and it takes a long time just to get a basic order out.

can't get order right!!. i can't find anywhere to write my experience with the ladels downtown charleston on calhoun. anyway, the first time the office i work in ordered from there, the soup was warm and very thick from it being that way. the next time, i skipped the soup and got a ladels grilled cheese, which ended up being just a grilled cheese. today, we ordered from there again, and again i ordered a ladels grilled cheese, and again, got a grilled cheese. when i called them to let them know, i was told that the order was (and she read it to me), i told her i know what the order was, but it's not what i got. she told me she could bring me another one down, or the next time we order, she would give me one. i told her do not worry about it, i would not be ordering from there when the office ordered again. by the way, i am not the only one in the office who has complained about them.

the owners ensure fabulous customer service and always are gracious! highly recommend the chicken salad wrap, or the veggie wrap! you won't find better thai chicken or she crab soup in mt. pleasant!!! kid friendly or a casual date ladles mt pleasant is consistently delicious!!!

ladles soups in mt. pleasant. what a great thing for a dreary day, soup!!! if you can't find a soup you want here, then don't bother looking anywhere else!! this is a great place for soup, salads, sandwiches, anything you desire. nestled away in the corner of the harris teeter shopping area off hwy 17. i especially like to see what frozen soups they have left over the next day. what a bargain. i haven't had anything here i didn't love!

for a place that specializes in soup, the loaded potato and tomato basil were runny and tasteless. don't bother calling in because you'll still have a twenty minute wait. disappointing and not edible.

this place is a joke i called 30 min before coming in then waited 20min in line just to have the girl tell me that even tho i called ahead they were out of the soups i ordered. how can you tell me you'll have it ready when i get there then sell out. never coming back

i just love this place. i have mostly eaten at the one in mt. p. but they are all great. i think the white bean and ham is great along with the she crab. the cheesburger chowder is awsome. i have heard great things about the black and blue and looking forward to seeing it on the menu. i check the menu three or four times a week to see whats new. have not been disappointed yet, keep it up ladles.

the best soup you're ever gonna taste! if there is such a thing as a soup bar. this is it!

nice lunch spot. four of us ate for $25.95 with a coupon. we each had a pint of soup with roll and 1/2 sandwich and drink. staff was friendly and helpful. enjoyed looking at the art for sale on the walls. we'll be back.

decent soup. i like some of the soups and other i do not. they are good about letting you sample before you buy. i got a bowl once and the server overheard me say i didn't like it and they replaced it graciously with something i could tolerate. i love the taste of the greek lemon chicken soup but they have to do something about the layer of grease on top. i got the pasta fagouli and it was intolerably greasy.

great selection and good soup!. ladles has a vast selection of not only soups but sandwiches as well! i've had both and have never been disappointed. the soup sampler is fun to get- $5.95 and you get to try 4 cups of soup and a roll. the last time i visited i ordered broccoli cheddar, loaded potato (with bacon, cheese & chives), buffalo chicken, and turkey chili. all were great, although the chili could have used more spice. my dad got a chicken salad sandwich and it was great. the place is very clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. the first time i went there was no music on and it was a bit strange because you could hear other diners, the last time they had some nice feel-good music on making it for a pleasant atmosphere.

love ladles!!!. went to ladles last night with husband and 3 grandchildren. had a great time!!! the lady put in a movie for the children(all under the age of 5). the behaved excellent because of the movie. the kids ate free because of kids' night on thursday (great deal)...... they loved the grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup. drinks come with the kid's meal. the bean soup was excellent and salad was very fresh. the staff was very friendly and helpful. i will definitely go back!!!!!
