although all the pieces of a high end restaurant are here, there is still something missing. the bar offers krug (!) by the glass, but the tiny bar feels cold, exposed, and small. the restaurant is dimly lit which is romantic, but not exactly impressive. the 7 course tasting menu has occasionally stellar courses, but by no means is a totally engrossing food experience. additional expense is incurred as the cheese and dessert courses do not include wine. the waitstaff is ok but lacks a personal touch and seems uneducated about what they are serving. overall, a decent experience, but i will try something else next time.
