genuine french canadian bistro. best montreal smoked meat west of montreal. fair pricing. don't order wine. have beer instead. go early. no reservations.

i have been here twice now and my servers were nothing but rude. i will not be going here again. food was good but service was terrible.

don't ask for substitution. you will get a hard and loud "no". as for coffee, enjoy your coffee grinds with it. very busy and long wait time.
i will never return.

nice, modern décor. not too noisy. beer was served cold, as it should. service was ok. my quesadilla was good for $10. fries would be extra.
but the pecan pie is supermarket quality: the filling is passable, but the pastry hard and dry.

very busy on weekends but we only waited 10 minutes for a table. great and quick service. the menu offers a variety of options (pizza pasta burgers fish) we had ribs and wraps with fries. food is good and plates are generous. prices are very reasonable.
would recommend for families and casual date nights

best breakfast place. always busy on the weekends for a reason, but if you have to wait they give you a pager, and it's never more than 5-10 min. service is fast and friendly, decor is nice, and selection.is varied. always enjoy coming here for breakfast.

we had lunch and the first thing the employes and server were very friendly and a joyful . the lunch was very good the club wrap fresh and tasty so was the tacos. even the place was very busy the plate came fast and hot .

beau restsurant. apres 3 visites je suis toujours decu. le service est moyens..la nourriture est vraiment pas fameuse. dommage parce le spot et le look du resto en valle la peine.

their filet mignon is tiny and their sides are lacklustre. potatoes? meh.  vegetables... overcooked. seriously tiny portions for the price. i only ordered steak because i was told it was their speciality; but i saw that people were opting for the pizza and flatbreads more than actual steak. maybe i should have gotten that instead?

ambiance is really nice, restaurant is really packed, but it's nothing special.

j'adore ce resto!! mon resto #1 à déjeuner depuis un bout! bon rapport qualité prix! piur en bas de 10$ je suis comblée avec le déjeuner du bucheron! le cora peux aller se cacher avec ses prix de fous pour 2 oeufs /bacon! trop satisfaite par la station! j'aime bien dîner /souper aussi , surtout la pizza au feu mmmmm si seulement il y avait plus de sortes par exemple mmmmiam! le service est rapide , rien a me plaindre.

not impressed. service was great!!! no complaints there. the restaurant is very noisy and way too crowded for my liking. the food wasn't very good. i had a steak, it tasted like it had been frozen then microwaved.

love love love it. we used to go as a late night food spot, havent been in a couple of years and we went back last saturday night with some friends from toronto. the food was amazing, the sauteed mushrooms are to die for. our server patrick was very attentive, funny, interactive, and eager to please. you can tell that he really likes his job. he was comfortable in english and french which was amazing. in fact our overall experience was a really good one. as restaurant owners ourselves we can be very critical, so to write a good review says a lot. thanks patrick and the rest of the staff for making our experience a good one.
