pleasant surprise!. i love this place! i'm spreading the word because it is soo great when you find a nice local restaurant where you can get really great food and you don't feel like you're in some little taco shop or a restaurant chain. they have a couple really unusual things on the menu, one is chicken in chipotle sauce, i had never even heard of it or seen it before and i swear it was ridiculously good! i can't even begin to describe the smooth sauce, kind of a cross between a cream sauce with spicy chile and a pale orange chile sauce omg! (the menu said "chipotle cream sauce"). the chicken is diced, grilled, tender and perfect with the sauce. and since i don't like refried beans so much (texture thing) i ordered it with black beans which they have and that was a good call too. enough said! oh, the owner is so sweet, she came by and checked on our table she obviously cares about her customers! gotta love santa rosa!
