this is one of our favorite cuban restaurants in the nyc metro area. it was recommended by a friend pei, who used to live in hoboken. the restaurant is tiny so expect to wait in line to get a table. some of our favorite dishes there are the ensalada de es

all around great place. great sunday brunch in hoboken for reasonable price. the steak and eggs are a staple, the croquetas are tasty, and the cafe con leche is a real tummy warmer on a cold day. the wait staff is friendly and attentive even though the place is always packed - but it's not very big so you may need to wait a few minutes for a table.
