ordered a $22 steak medium rare, received it well done. same thing on the second go. will not go to this restaurant again.

stopped here to have breakfast and have a biz meeting. just breathe when you walk in! the wonderful aroma of a patisserie. it was not immediately apparent how you order, etc. but the staff was happy to help. i had a bowl of fruit and a spinach quiche. i have to say the quiche is the best i have ever had: creamy custard filled with so much spinach in a crispy melt in your mouth crust. oh that i lived in columbus so i could visit more often. they lose a half star for not having decaf espresso. the ambiance is warm and inviting.

best time!. jacob was incredibly friendly and helpful. seafood sausage was unique and fresh. mimosa was tasty and wine selection was unique.

bakery is worth a stop. i enjoy stopping in while shopping at nearby stores. very cute area. bakery items are generally yummy, with the favorites being tartlets with fresh fruit.

not completely sold, but ok.. so i went in for a late lunch one day, partially why my experience probably wasn't the best. i had a hardroll sandwich and french onion soup. the french onion soup was a bit too salty for my tastes. i got some bakery items, a delicious little raspberry cookie that was cute and awesome. i wanted some of the french donuts, but they were out for the day. i've been to new orleans to get them and was used to them being served fresh, i was disappointed in this. enjoyed the wifi, seating wasn't very comfortable to hang out in though. i spend the most time and money where it has good food, coffee, and wifi with comfy seating. i wasn't here long, but the food wasn't horrible.

we ordered the simple breakfast special: eggs, potatoes, bacon, bread, and a drink. all of it was good. nothing mind-blowing, but good: eggs and bacon were well done, the potatoes well seasoned.

it’s well suited to sit and read a book or chat with a friend over a quiet meal for a long time, and that atmosphere by itself makes the place so magnetic it’s hard to resist going back.

blah. on the 2 times i have been here, the food has been nothing but tasteless. this has been the same thought of the other 2 couples who have joined us for dinner here. i cannot remember what i ordered but remembered it was very bland. i do like the breakfast but it will never make up for the lack of taste for dinner. their outdoor patio is very nice though.

it’s a gem of an establishment, and one i take out-of-town visitors to almost without fail. and this little serving of mac and cheese was among the best i’ve had!

easy to enjoy.. we had dinner, and, while nothing we ate was a show-stopper, it was all quite good. our party had cod, a filet and the puff pastry chicken dish. all were quite nice, particularly in light of the rather modest prices.

if you are a pretentious francophile, perhaps you will have qualms with some aspects of the restaurant, but really, it is a nice little place (have not been to any but worthington location).

oh - for what it's worth - the interior woodwork is beautiful.

i think the food here is simple yet tasty. i love the lunch combo, it's hard to find a deal for lunch that offers three entrees. i can live with the fact that the workers can only greet me in french, they are nice enough and i don't go to restaurants to speak other languages, i go there to eat. and i can do that here for a reasonable price

tres bien la chatelaine. everytime i visit la chatelaine i enjoy my visit. the food is fantastic and the staff is outgoing and very friendly. i've frequented for lunch and dinner and have always had a great experience! i'm a lover of french cuisine and i think they do a wonderful job at a good price.

bland, tasteless and distinctively not french. it is what you come to expect from bakeries in the u.s. when labeled "french.". from the minute you are greeted at the door, it is pretentious yet underwhelming. i have yet to meet anyone working there who actually speaks french, yet they insist on greeting you in french. if you can't continue service in the language, please don't insist on pretense. patisseries in france offer fresh confectionaries baked daily with only a hint of sweetness. what ypu get here is day old fair that reeks of corn syrup and sickeningly sweet sugars.

a great stop for a quick, light meal. i love the chocolate mice and the macaroons.
