ks chicken is the most famous chicken takeaway in albany area. they have variety of options for flavour of the chicken. i almost always go for half and half. half original and half seasoned. this is because i kind of get sick of it in the middle of it when i have the whole chicken seasoned.
their chicken is just like those franchised chicken in korea. they offer lunch buffet as well and those unsold items during buffet are packed in takeaway boxes and go on sale in the evening ($7.50)
taste is good. original chicken is nice and crunchy! however i wish their batter was thinner.

i visited ks chicken with my friend. we ordered chicken half n half: original and spicy. chicken is good and crispy. the portion is big and can be shared by 3 people.the order comes with three side dishes: chips, salad and raddish. we seated outside and enjoyed the food.staff is friendly too.

i tried ks chicken for the first time yesterday! i shared a take away box with my partner. pros the chicken was excellent, crispy and juicy. much better than kfc. very good value for money. cons it was very busy and the wait time was about 20m so recommend calling to order. this does mean the food is fresh! the side coleslaw was a little small for my liking but i am a huge fan of salads! overall great experience.

best korean chicken place in auckland hands down. so succulent and juicy chicken. service is always good. must call to organise your chicken before hand so they can prepare for you.

it always comes with coleslaw and pickled radish. you can ask for one of each or a combination.

price may be steeper compared to somewhere like kfc, but i assure you that you don't feel so sick afterwards as you would with other fried chicken. well worth 👍🏻

some of the best fried chicken i've ever had, however the side of the white cube things had gone off and smelled incredibly bad, which ruined the meal 🤢.good customer service, however they had a long wait when i went there, so maybe i'll have to try ordering over the phone in advance if i go there again.

quite good choice for fast and tasty lunch. use to be there more often on lunches. friendly service. only one complaint - bring back bowls please! me and my colleague started cheating on this place only because of that recent change.

been to ks chicken 3times, tried almost every type of chicken flavor they have. i personally love korean fried chicken and garlic soy chicken. garlic soy is very juicy. also , thumbs up for the lady that serves us for her great customer service. i just wish that we get more chips with the chicken. all in all, i love this chicken place, i could almost say better than kfc! i hope you open a branch soon in auckland cbd or somewhere near.

absolutely the best chicken i have ever had hands down! love this place, thanks to zomato and a friend we enjoyed every bit of out half half chicken. beats kfc n texas by miles!!

one of my workmates had been raving about this place for weeks, so i figured i'd give it a crack to see what the fuss was about. the selection is right up there with among the best korean fried chicken places in auckland and the fact that they have an option where you can pack your own dishes just adds to the experience. 
the quality is right up there with the best too. i tried their popcorn chicken, spicy chicken & meatballs... the popcorn chicken puts the colonel's to shame and the spicy chicken... holy mary mother of fried chicken... it is quite simply out of this world. admittedly the meatballs didn't quite tick the box for me, but in all seriousness, who goes to a korean fried chicken place for meatballs. they perform where it counts which is in their chicken. to think you can grab a meal for under $10 too. crazy.
it's definitely worth mentioning the service too. like korean joints aren't exactly know for their friendly service, but the owner of ks chicken is certainly an exception. she was just a bundle of smiles and energy, helpfully pointing out what each dish is and what is the most popular - such a nice change from the unfriendly vibes you can get at other similar establishments. 
it's not hard to see why this place is normally always busy and has such a good rep. i'll certainly be back to explore more of their menu (the bbq chicken is next on my hit list).

a very good place for korean fried chicken. we got a half and half garlic soy chicken and fried chicken, and both were superb. the service is really friendly, and i'm looking forward to trying more flavours.

this is the best korean fried chicken in auckland and on par with the fried chicken in korea.
they have a variey of sauces. the spicy extra hot is exactly what the name says so be warned.
the soy is amazing. you can mix and match.
the service is very friendly and they remember you if you are a repeat customer with a warm welcome back!
the food is packaged well so the the steam does not make the chicken moist.
remember to try the raddish and if you dont like it swap it for coleslaw.

they do have seats but the shop has a take away feel. so i take it home and eat it with a cold beer korean style.

the quality is consistent and i will never eat kfc as long as this shop is in business!

very tasty korean style chicken！highly recommend to chicken lover. we ordered half soy chicken and half korean fired chicken. nice service.

it tastes just like the ones in korea- especially the packaging and the crispy outside
they also offer more than 2 usual flavours of chicken
can't wait to try more flavors
100% recommend to those who like korean fried chicken :)
only down side is they charge extra for radish when other places usually just give more at no charge

friendly staff, especially the lady at the counter. made to order. ordered half hot and spicy and half bbq soy for takeaway; fresh, well cooked, juicy and tender; be warned, hot and spicy on my scale was very very hot (4/5) but delicious nonetheless; three of us that ate bbq soy thought that it was way too salty and one of us thought we should probably take it back, but we did not (we just took the skin off the chicken and brushed as much sauce off as possible, so probably won't ever order that again. packaging was good, okay portion, comes with some side dishes including some fries, coleslaw-esque salad, and some pickled radish. no napkins or cutlery were given. will go back and try some other menus and make follow-up reviews.

delicious korean chicken - best i've had in nz. for the four of us, we got the crispy chicken (half size) and a spicy version (whole size). the portions are very generous here, and all come with complimentary pickled radish. we will definitely be back!
