i have been there many times for more then two years. for sure their plain croissants are tasty. at the beginning it was a very nice place where you could enjoy your food and drink. the staff were also very nice and welcoming. however, for a few months i have felt that the welcoming atmosphere has changed a lot. as it is getting more crowded day by day and new customers coming and going, they do not care the customers going there frequently. today i sat there and worked few hours without being a trouble ( i mean i was in a small corner, not occupying to much space and ordering fair enough). when i asked bill one of the waiters made a comment to his colleagues which i guess a complaint about my long stay. i felt so bad and realized my interpretation about losing the welcoming atmosphere was right. istanbul is such a big city and there many alternatives that you can find any time anywhere. personally the first thing that i look is the welcoming atmosphere and the manners of the staff. from the beginning i know the prices are higher than normal which i don’t care as long as i feel good. but i think i won’t go there again. i was waiting not to write it as soon as i felt this change as i thought it was quite busy, the staff was getting tired etc. but today i thought it is not worth to go there, i don’t think customers deserve such a behavior.
