i lovedonutsand i love anything sweet, i love having good time with friends and i think this is the place to be to have wonderful coffee and delicious donuts. lovely ambience and friendly people around. i wouldn't say which donut i like because i loved them all!

krispy kreme is one of the very old doughnut shops in the world. it was established first in new orleans in the year 1937 by a baker named vernon rudolph. it is famous for it's glazed doughnuts or the oil cakes. and yes, the shop in chennai serves precisely the highest quality doughnuts as in the us.

we friends decided to get some after dinnerdonutsat krispy kreme on weekday. the shop is well placed near one of the entrances in ea. you can identify it by it's famous bowtie logo. once you enter you get to see the oldest and the famous krispy kreme donut making machine. and, it will be cooking the signature glazed donuts. the seating area is good.

the service was good. there were two people and they helped us well. you can ask them about anything in the menu and they will answer keenly.

thedonutsare dainty and scrumptious. we ordered the vanilla glazed donut, churros donut and the signature chocolate dream cream donut. the latter was no doubt the best of the place. once you take a bite over the oil cake, the chocolate filling inside just infuses newer tastes for your palate. do try the chocolate dream cream donut. we also had a coffee frappe. believe me, one shake is enough for two people.

the price is a little heavier in the pocket. but they have this equitable combo where if you buy 6donutsthey give you 6 more for free. this was tempting.

good as always, their glazeddonutsare a must have. soft and melt in your mouth. we ordered the glazed and a couple chocolate doughnuts, the salted caramel drink (which nobody makes as great as krispy kreme) and iced tea.
amazing variety with a plethora of flavours, and very tempting combo offers.

this place is a gem for doughnut lovers, located in the ground floor of express avenue. munching on somedonutsafter shopping , sounds perfect.
on a weekday post lunch my friend and i decided to catch up and we zeroed up on this place.
they've got an ac seating area and an open area which is not air conditioned. most people choose the outdoor area because that gives a better view.
they had an offer get a sugar glazed donut free if you buy one and a hot chocolate. so we got that and another heart shaped donut. the name of which i don't remember :p

the hot chocolate was good. and since i had cold i found it more soothing for my throat. the sugar glazed donut was simple and the best. tasted totally fresh.
i liked the chocolate one but that wasn't as fresh as the other one. it had a filling of chocolate and topped with crushed chocolate again.

total bill was around 400 so. i would want to keep visiting the place and explore the other options they offer.

after too much of shopping, you  really need something to bring your energy back, of the very few outlets, which directly accepts cards instead that food card, we settled at krispy kreme, and with offer of buy 2 drinks , get 2 glazedonutsfree . we were sorted. 

i got my hands on the orange lemon tea- the tea was good, with less ice, the orange flavour was very mild , on the other hand the mango milkshake was very poor, it was way too watery, with a medicine smell thorught the drink. 

thedonutson thhe other hand was insanely good. the glaze ones being my all time favourite , didnt disappoint at all :)

so after a really disappointed shopping.. i needed something sweet and yum to cheer me up..
this is on the ground floor of ea..
it is a nice spacious place.. they have really comfy seating and the "oh so sweet" smell of donuts..
you can see that they have most of thedonutsvariety..
we tired the cinnamon apple filled donut🍎🍩 it was yumm.. the filling could have been a little bit more.. but loved it completely..

🍭🍩 churros.. well i love churros.. and i make better ones at home.. this could have been a little better!

kookie krunch donut.. it was yummy.. we had this with ice cream and chocolate and strawberry sauce.. loved loved it...

this krispy kreme outlet located in the ground floor of express avenue is one of my favourite places to just relax and have coffee. they have ample seating space and this place is very laid back and cool. they have a wide variety ofdonutsand pretty good offers too.

i have to say - krispy kreme has some of the freshestdonutson this planet. although it is a bit on the pricey side, i will grudgingly admit perhaps you are paying more for the quality. the donut machine is just mesmerizing, come for this even if you don't eat donuts.

the plain sugardonutsare heaven - you can never eat too many. the specials like the nutty caramel donut were also quite delicious, as were the cream-filled ones. the italian sodas were quite nice, but they could go easy on the fizz.

glazed donuts, simple! no one glazes theirdonutsbetter than krispy kreme. they have a huge collection ofdonutsand flavours to satisfy every donut mouth out there. their coffee's and shakes are excellent as well. easily the best donut joint in the city, pricing is fair as well. great ambience and service as well.

goddamn! such beautifully scrumptiousdonuts🍩. i couldn't get enough of the chocolate dream donut, simply smouldering. gotta love the original glazeddonutstoo. i thought i'd never get to eat from krispy kreme in india, but here we are, licking away the dripping chocolate filling off of our fingers.

my daughter was absolutely in live with their little cap. she was so adorable in it. too bad she threw it down before we could take a picture.

overall, it seems like a quite place to snuggle up with some coffee and them delish donuts. :)

the originally glazeddonutsare my all time favourite. not too sweet not too bland but just dissolves in your mouth literally 😘

one of the finestdonutsjoints in chennai, loved all the varieties, must try joints incase if you are in express avenue. but pricy but you will love the creamy donuts

their variety ofdonutsis wow! a little over priced but good taste. yea, they could be less sweeter. they're tooooo sweet. but good place for snacking.

we were in need for something cold and hence headed here for some cold beverages. and, needless to say we weren't disappointed. we ordered the combo of two cold coffees and two glazeddonutsfree, and a passion fruit iced tea. all the cold beverages were good, fresh and just perfect for the hot afternoon. i liked the ambience of the cafe too with nice cozy chairs, sofas and tables. perfect for group hangouts as well as plain chilling out.
