krispy kreme

i'm so delighted to write this review because, the first doughnut i had at krispy kreme. i had somewhat of a chocolate glazed doughnut and it was like floating in heaven. good job!

after too much of shopping, you  really need something to bring your energy back, of the very few outlets, which directly accepts cards instead that food card, we settled at krispy kreme, and with offer of buy 2 drinks , get 2 glaze donuts free . we were sorted. 

i got my hands on the orange lemon tea- the tea was good, with less ice, the orange flavour was very mild , on the other hand the mango milkshake was very poor, it was way too watery, with a medicine smell thorught the drink. 

the donuts on thhe other hand was insanely good. the glaze ones being my all time favourite , didnt disappoint at all :)

donut lovers would like it, dropped in for a drink.. since am not a person with sweet tooth, settled in for a drink. nice place to hang out with friends if you have a thing for caramel glazed different types of 🍩...

terrible, almost inedible experience with krispy kreme's christmas special selection. and terrible response from the employees to boot. sonali and i tried the chocolate cheesecake doughnut - which looked uber attractive with the red sugar coating - but when we sunk our teeth into it, it was god awful. tasted like stale butter cream over a cake baked for last christmas and left out to dry. couldn't finish it and asked the guy behind the counter to doggie bag it, while telling him that it was awful. first he looked down, then away, then nodded awkwardly before handing the cover back and walking away quickly. generally used to cheery service at krispy kreme and so i was completely put off by the whole experience. word of advice - please avoid the christmas selection like the plague and pray that you get better service

asked the server whether the doughnuts were warm... he replied yes but it was actually cold... does krispy kreme train their staff how to lie n be unprofessional... disappointed...

so after a really disappointed shopping.. i needed something sweet and yum to cheer me up..
this is on the ground floor of ea..
it is a nice spacious place.. they have really comfy seating and the "oh so sweet" smell of donuts..
you can see that they have most of the donuts variety..
we tired the cinnamon apple filled donut🍎🍩 it was yumm.. the filling could have been a little bit more.. but loved it completely..

🍭🍩 churros.. well i love churros.. and i make better ones at home.. this could have been a little better!

kookie krunch donut.. it was yummy.. we had this with ice cream and chocolate and strawberry sauce.. loved loved it...

this place serves awesome doughnuts.tried their original glazed and chocolate doughnuts.original glazed is amazing and so soft.wil try their other variants in future

this krispy kreme outlet located in the ground floor of express avenue is one of my favourite places to just relax and have coffee. they have ample seating space and this place is very laid back and cool. they have a wide variety of donuts and pretty good offers too.

prologue: ate krispy kreme doughnuts in usa back in 2000! after coming back to india ,waited for many years for them to open an outlet here. my wishes were granted after krispy kreme finally opened in bangalore and eventually came to chennai!

location: the outlet is situated on ground floor in express avenue. easy to spot it as it has prominent glass windows.

experience:i have bought doughnuts here more than a dozen times!! been to their outlets in forum and phoenix malls but this is the best outlet! you actually get to see the doughnuts been made behind the glass door!
plenty of tables available for seating unlike the other outlets.

doughnuts: original glazed doughnuts are a paradise for the taste buds🤗😋. the doughnut literally melts in your mouth!! you can easily gobble up half a dozen of them!
i always get a box of 12( u pay only for 9). some weekdays u even get offers like buy 12 and pay for 7!
every month they have special collections like chocolate indulgence, caramel etc which r great!

my personal favorites are
1.original glazed
2.double chocolate
3.chocolate dream cake
4.vanilla
5.chocolate with sprinkles
6.caramel

be sure to microwave them for 15-20 seconds before consuming. they taste best when warm!👌

service: decent and quick.

price: vfm!! be sure to hit the outlet on weekdays as u end up paying less for box doughnuts!

must visit for all doughnut lovers!!🤗👌

big fan of their double chocolate doughnut....they have a wide variety of doughnuts and every flavor tastes just awesome.. my husband is an ardent fan of thier capuchino....they have this doughnut machine for display and i find myself gazing at the machine, everytime i go there, like a kid :)))) baby....how do they make it?????

talk about doughnuts then krispy kreme comes up first in my mind. who can make better doughnuts!
i have been to the one in bangalore couple of times and this is the first time i am trying in chennai.

they have the typical white and green krispy kreme décor. this place has been a little disappointing in seating arrangements. but while trying the doughnuts you will forget everything. they have 12 to 15 different variants of doughnuts and to be honest most of them taste good. i don't remember what i ordered as i am writing this review after couple of weeks.

service is good. the items in the menu are decently priced. the espresso chocolate shake is a must try.

final verdict: an average place but a heaven for people who have a heart made up of doughnuts.

i have to say - krispy kreme has some of the freshest donuts on this planet. although it is a bit on the pricey side, i will grudgingly admit perhaps you are paying more for the quality. the donut machine is just mesmerizing, come for this even if you don't eat donuts.

the plain sugar donuts are heaven - you can never eat too many. the specials like the nutty caramel donut were also quite delicious, as were the cream-filled ones. the italian sodas were quite nice, but they could go easy on the fizz.

i am crazy 😜 for doughnuts 🍩 which makes me go nuts. it is the over doze for ur tummy. me ordered for chocolate glaze n strawberry 🍓 sause filled doughnut. choco galze was too gud with taste like nutella n another one was too juicy , softer spongy inside the top layer was glazed with sugar. this satisfies my sweet tooth 😋😋😋

we used to bring krispy kreme from dubai to my son till we got this in chennai. we remember the first day of this shop opening and the crowd (and hype) it had. both have gone down but kk remains a winner. a great place some good donuts. with many offers in the market, their vfm goes up, even though it is pricey

krispy kreme never disappoints 😍 one of the biggest donuts joints in chennai order vanilla donut , sugar glazed and choco sprinkled donut 🍩 sugar glazed was outstanding and other too was on par with each other just perfect 😘
