excellent cart at a great brewery. this delicious cart peddles food on the sidewalk as well as at the patio at base camp brewing, what a great pairing!

koi fusion is a food truck in portland that serves up innovation korean bbq and mexican fusion cuisine. they sell items like tacos, burritos, sliders, and rice bowls, and they let you choose what type of meat you want. they have a couple of locations (both trucks and a new permanent one) and they are frequently visiting different areas, so it is best to check their schedule online . my family visited the location at the mississippi marketplace. i thought the mississippi marketplace was a cool location. there are several other trucks in the same area and they have covered outdoor seating where you can eat. it would be a good place to come with a group of people because there are so many food options. the burritos ($7.50) are filled with your choice of meat, kimchi fried rice, mozza cheese, fresh local vegetables, and your choice of spicy or mild salsa. i chose the bulgogi beef for my meat, because the lady working there recommended it. the beef was tender and very flavourful. it had a s

burritos of the far east. ive had the bulgogi beef, and chicken burritos from here and they are both damn fine. perhaps adjusting the 'meat to other stuff' ratio so theres a little more meat and a bit less rice would be a fair thing to suggest, but otherwise there's no denying these beasts are both delicious and filling. be sure to have them put kimchi in there, its flavor and texture mesh well with the other stuff.
grade: b (glad to have you closer to our neck of the woods)

there’s something about korean food in a taco that is just amazing. koi fusion is no (seattle) but they are representing korean tacos for the people of portland. this location is located in the same pod as gonzo, fuego de lotus, and a beer cart so there’s stiff competition near by. i got the beef tacos for $2.50 each and a pork rice bowl for $7. the pork was well marinated but again not quite as flavorful as marination’s. the pork rice bowl was also really good. it pretty much tasted like bulgogi. the kimchi was a nice touch though, it added a little kick to the mixture of brown rice, bean sprouts, and cabbage. overall it was delicious food served cheap and fast. the atmosphere was also very nice with the hippies playing their instruments in the background and beer being served.

yummy!. now the koi fusion i have been to is the food cart at bridgeport village and it is pretty darned good. gotta love those adorbale sliders and their kimchee is spicy, tangy and full of kick. whenever i bring food back to the office from here, a small crowd gathers at my desk followed by several: "oooo"s and "ahhhh"s. good stuff!

my stomach was filled immensely up by all three tacos, i was surprised because they are “mini tacos” but so much filling i don’t think i could have gone for another. there are other unique yummy things on thier menu such as fried rice bowls, korean hot dogs, quesadillas, and burritos. very creative spin on a fusion of sweet korean flavor with bold mexican notes. the meat is the star of the show, i cant quite figure it out which is probably why it is so good.

savory meat tacos!. my wife and i dined at koi fusion while it was parked at the "d-street noshery" (se 32nd & division). she had two spicy tofu tacos and i opted for one of each of the three grilled meat tacos. i really loved each of my tacos (especially the kim-chi inside), but she was not impressed with the tofu tacos. so i would say: carnivores will love it, veggies maybe not so much.

in the food media world it seems you can't throw a tortilla without hitting an article about korean taco carts. it started with the kogi carts that are the hottest thing in l.a. dining. koi owner bo kwon, inspired by a visit to kogi decided to give us a p
