been to my fair share of benihana knockoffs, and like many of them, but the frisco location of this smaller chain lacks the food quality and charm of its larger rival. will not be back.

almost fooled. my daughter & i ordered the filet mignon & scallops. others at the table ordered the strip steak. they gave us a strip, but i was charged for the filet. i had 3, including the chef said that we had a filet. i know the difference. the sauces were so thin & watered down. we couldn't taste it on the food.

ordered veg tempura. sweet potatoes were undercooked the onion had outer skin in it. service was great. the food has just gone downhill. you already pay a lot of dollars for the experience the food should also be good as well. the service i received was the best

kobe frisco is very good. we enjoyed the dinner very much. it's almost an exact knock-off of benihana but at kobe: salad has a light ginger dressing versus heavy at benihana, soup is beef/mushroom, rice is better, chicken is not better, shrimp is better, steak is same, preparation is twice as fast, veggies are zucc, carrots, mush, onions and broccoli. dinner was delicious and i think the portions are a smidge larger at kobe. we didn't try the sushi.

we love this place. our favorite chef is leon(sp) i'm not the biggest hibachi or sushi enthusiast, but this place is always a hit when we go there. we usually stick to chicken or shrimp while my daughter loves their sushi.

food was great, presentation a bit dry... prefer a more interactive chef. :). overall good.

loved it. our first time to visit was last night and we thought it was a great place. i think it is better than benihana down on legacy in plano. filet mignon was so tender and scallops were cooked just right. alaskan sushi roll was delectable. service was very attentive but not overbearing. had a nice big screen in there to that was tuned to the mavs. my kinda place. we'll be going back for sure!! thanks kobe steak & sushi!!!

outstanding. we went to kobe teppan & sushi in frisco tonight and were extremely happy with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. we had a party of 10 with 6 kids and the kids all left with the same smile the adults did. i highly recommend.
