the food is exceptional, fresh and the presentation is always a feast for the eyes. make sure you check out the daily drink specials as well. the dining areas inside and out are always very clean and comfortable.

wonderful service by people who genuinely want to please. the outdoor patio is beautiful with a privacy wall and nice plantings. very good food and very reasonably priced. well worth a visit.

good food, great service. i love this place as much for the friendly, efficient service, as the food, which is pretty darn good, in its own right - not as "authentic" as some would insist you must have to be a good mexican restaurant., but pretty good.

what some folks do not seem to realize, or choose to ignore, in their rush to identify the next great "authentic" cuisine restaurant, is that authentic dishes can be as poorly prepared and poorly served as its non-authentic counterpart - tripe is not for everyone, silver dollar sized tacos with a dab of dry animal is not what everyone is seeking as a dining experience, and a menu that is difficult to understand does not guarantee quality.

the carnitas, an authentic mexican dish some consider boring, are excellent - tender, moist, with a nice crust, and great taste. the carne asada also delivers, with well grilled shredded beef, pico de gallo with an attitude and tons of fresh cilantro, and an outstanding tomatillo sauce served on the side. both the chile colorado and the chili verde are worth a look, at the very least.

i find the burittos and enchilladas here very good, as well, with nice sauces, well seasoned meats, and good quality cheese. even the chips and salas, which are so tex-mex to some, are excellent, and they have dos equis lager on tap. the nachos are the only item i've tried here that i did not care for - very little on the chips.

the food comes out of the kitchen quickly, the service is excellent - you are checked on at least 4 or 5 times at each seating to see if you need more drink, chips, salas, or anything else. the owner, or some one in management, always stops by to see if you order is as you wanted it. and, finally, the prices are reasonable - there is little to find fault with here, and much to enjoy.

if you are looking for standard mexican fare, kiosco is a good choice.  this restaurant doesn't have any pretense of being hip (i.e. crafted, the porch, or el camino real), so if that is what you are looking for, you'd be better served going elsewhere.  however, if you just want good, simple americanized mexican food, kiosco is one of the best options i have found in the triad.  the portions were plentiful and the flavors were tasty.  however, the chips and salsa were pretty bland - the sauce would have benefited from chopped up veggies and cilantro.  i also was not a fan of our waiter - he was very abrupt, and brought us our bill before even asking if we wanted desert or anything else.

absolutely delicious. fabulous service. friendly staff and management as well as a quick kitchen. can't beat their margarita drink specials either! a definitive favorite when in town

meh... decent.. i went to kiosco with a rather large group. we were well tended to by the wait staff, and from what i could tell, they got all of our orders correct. i ordered a frozen margarita, which was on special that night, and it was really the worst margarita i've ever had. i never complain to waiters/managers unless something is seriously wrong, and i brought this disgusting margarita to their attention. they were very kind and removed it from my bill, and provided me with a coke instead. i ordered the speedy for dinner (they only charge $1 over the lunch menu price), and it was pretty much like any other speedy i've ever had. my friend ordered a much tastier looking dish with black beans and rice. he ate every bit of it and said it was very good. so, perhaps this is the type of place you should try ordering outside of your comfort zone. personally, i love enchiladas, and there are only a handful of places in the triad that get it right. unfortunately, kiosco isn't on the list. the taco was pretty good, though. all in all, decent mexican food, but not really super authentic. the salsa was pretty good, so stuffing your face with chips and salsa prior to the meal is very doable here.

it took a while for us to get seated; apparently the hostess was busy or something. the food was delicious and came out very fast. staff was friendly and polite as well.

the customer service was great but the food was bland and under seasoned. the margarita was a bit like a tequila shot. ugh!

best mexican in greensboro. this is solid food here not like imitators in the greater greensboro area. the owner is super nice with great customer service skills but the other managers could use a little work.

delicious food! love the spinach enchiladas and the line cured fish. i eat here all the time!

like it? love it.. kiosco is now our neighborhood mexican hang-out. they run the gamut from low priced tacos/burritos etc to wonderful entrees. i love the large shrimp burrito. the prices don't hurt the wallet, but the taste is to die for and the portions are just right.

huge restaurant, great service, perhaps even too attentive. food is great choriqueso dip and acp texano are my favorites. drinks are reasonably priced as is the food. menu is also huge. my favorite mexican place in greensboro.

one of my favorites.. i love kiosco. of course the food is what you'll find at most mexican restaurants but kiosco puts great attention to detail. on top of it every single person on staff provides excellent service.
