a much needed italian restaurant!. their service and food is excellent! the lasagna has a unique flavor that will keep you coming back for more. the servers are warm, friendly and well informed. the owners, randy and his wife christy are hands on with the staff and customers and can usually be seen making everyone feel at home in this intimate setting. here is a place that you can come enjoy great food and service and everybody knows your name!

favorite italian restaurant in town. everything here is delicious. the portions are generous, prices are a little high but still manageable, the atmosphere is down-home and relaxed, and i always come out of here full and happy. if you like italian food, go here!

food is good - service needs improvement. we love the food here - but the service is slow both for dine in and carry out. too many young girls worried about social things and not servicing customers. need a cash register out front and one person working the carry out.

can't go wrong with kinsey's. delicious italian food, large portions, craft beers, great staff. this place gets better every time i go. also, the lasagna is unbelievably good.

could be more authentic. the four of us had 4 different entrees. everyone though their dinner was "ok" nothing special. i think a small local place like this needs to take a little more time with quality and presentation. back off a little on the gigantic portions and work on flavor. fresh herbs, nicer salads would add to the experience. also, enjoyed the garlic knots but please serve with salad - don't need them with the pasta. cheese doesn't need to cover everything instead invest in a simple cheese grater for a fresher experience. service was very good and i enjoyed leftovers for lunch today.

have come twice and both times the food has been excellent. calzone, alfredo, lasagna are all solid choices. large portions and great ingredients. strongly recommend. it's small so you might need to wait. strongly recommend.

delicious food. the servers are friendly;the portions are generous;the salad is fresh; and the lasagne is delicious. i found the lasagne at kinsey's better than what i experienced at a high-end chain. i definitely recommend this restaurant. for those who like to support locally owned restaurants, you will not be disappointed in the food.

great experience. my family and i went to kinsey's last week. we ordered a pizza for the whole table and the portions are just right! best pizza i've ever had. our waitress was very attentive and friendly. she gave us refills and napkins before we had the chance to ask. we will definitely be going back!

terrible service - waited for 20 min to be seated and 20 more after we sat down and decided to leave because no one acknowledged us. several tables that were sat after us at least had drinks. will not go back... terrible experience.

kinsey's is hands down the best restaurant ever. from the service to the food & atmosphere. i had such a knowledgable waitress that seemed to know every question. she explain what was in each item with no hesitation. my salad was delivered in no time with my food following not too much later. it was an a+ experience. i will definitely be back with some friends. keep up the good work!

disappointed! we went in around 7pm sat down right away received our drinks & salads (ordered our food prior to getting salads) 2 other couples sat down at the same time we did 1 couple within eye view sat down about 10 minutes after us. we waited until 7:28 and still no entrees both of the other couples did receive their food. we left after the third couple who came in 10 minutes after us was served their dinner! 2 thumbs down on service :(

best pizza ever - kinsey's italian cafe. i though goodfella's was fantastic until i tried kinsey's italian cafe in mccordsville. it is the best pizza i've ever had, better than puccini's, goodfella's, bazbeux and some guys. we will definitely go back. their pasta dishes are also excellent.
