kings orlando - international drive

freaking unbelievable people talked to me at every turn, this is not bowling alley/ bar food. i have paid 4 times more for less, the cajun grouper, awesome. if
you don't know how to bowl, it's okay, eat! this is not your parents bowling alley!

i was invited to the media preview of kings bowl. this is a fancy new bowling alley that took over a space formerly occupied by a gooding's supermarket on international drive. they have all the normal stuff that most bowling alleys have, i.e.- lots of bowling lanes (which were very nicely illuminated) and pool tables. alongside the norm, kings bowl also has all sorts of edible things that most bowling alleys do not. since this is a food blog, the edible is what i'm focusing on. why not start out with a fancy drink from one of their many bars? if you're more of a beer person, kings bowl has a couple of these nifty booths with computerized, self-serve beer taps built into the tables. i haven't come across these elsewhere. for the food, the menu ranged from pretty standard bowling alley fare to very unusual foods to be eating while bowling. it seems like most bowling alleys i've visited serve pizza. so did kings bowl. i sampled the spicy hawaiian pizza , topped with fresh serrano peppers,

what a gem!. this place is awesome! they have some amazing cocktails on their drink list. my personal favorite was the gummi bear martini.

i kicked some butt in bowling, but didnt win. next time kings... next time.

fabulous place! food was good, drinks were delicious, ambiance was great, our server was awesome. the only thing i would say needed improve would be the speed of food delivery. dont let this gem go to waste orlando!

not your typical bowling alley!! you will be sorry if you don't stop by here whether you are local or visiting. the building is incredible and very high end!! the staff is very knowledgeable and the food is incredible. i had the mac & cheese bites and they just melt in your mouth. my family enjoyed every second of it and the bowling was great.

amazing venue. this place is amazing!!! we came last weekend and just had an absolute amazing time from the moment we stepped to the front door to the time we left. literally this place made even being asked for id and having my purse checked fun. all of the staff were very inviting and friendly and then we were catered to the whole night. what bowling alley gives you your own personal server! taylor was great!!! she did not miss a beat the whole night and her personality made the already extravagant atmosphere even more enjoyable. we will definitely be coming back for more and this wonderful experience. oh cant forget about the amazing food we had as well!

since my original review below, robert morris, director of operations emailed me and offered a free game of bowling for my son and i.  we accepted and advised him the exact day and time we would be there.  there were no complimentary tickets as promised and no managers around to speak to.  since then robert morris has ignored all emails from me.  this was obviously a deceitful con to get is into the establishment, but we just walked out in disgust.  we had traveled from lake buena vista to international drive on bus in sweltering heat, it was 97 f.

from me.vegan friendly - not. i really can't see why this place is listed as vegan friendly.
when i got in touch with them they refused to find out if chips were cooked in veg oil and could not tell me whether their cheese was vegetarian or not.
they would not allow us to take any food in at all and were of no help at all.
give this place a miss.

above and beyond. i have to say,
when i was looking to go bowling, i had no idea what we were getting into at kings. not only was the scratch made food amazing, but who knew the best service in orlando was at a luxury bowing complex. christopher was amazing, witty, knowledgeable, anticipated our needs, and seemed to be on par with most management teams in fine dining establishments. he is definatly a keeper, and kings in now our favorite place in orlando to dine, bowl, and drink. i highly suggest that you request christopher if your looking for exceptional service. share a big balls drink with a friend, eat the app sampler, and steak tips, and enjoy a hand crafted milk shake (i had the mocha nutella shake on special that our server requested) we love kings, and will be back time and again.

...favorites on the menu were the buffalo wontons and the spinach & strawberry salad. i enjoy a salad and i was surprised at how good this was. the cocktails were all good, but i loved "the dude". this concoction was made with kahlua, chocolate vodka, godiva chocolate liquor & milk served over ice...

not great food. so-so service. strange to bowl under black lights, but maybe i'm too old for their target demographic.

great place!. we went here for my daughter’s 12th birthday. it was a last minute decision when we came across a groupon. we went on a sunday when they first opened so it was not real busy. we had a group of 10 kids and they allowed us to use 2 groupons. they put us at end as requested and drew a curtain from the other lanes. they were very accommodating and friendly. of course we ordered food and drink. all the food was good and the service was wonderful, thanks sebastian. they set up the score board and what was really cool is you could set up bumpers for each individual person. they would go up automatically for those who wanted them and would go back down for those players that did not want them. the set up of the place is very nice and clean. we only bowled but they do have pool and bocce as well. we will defiantly return. just fyi if you bring your own cake they do charge a slicing fee of $1 per person, was no big deal to us.

kings is a great place just to come and hang on a weekend with friends, hold a birthday party or visit with a group from work for a fun team-building exercise. the environment is awesome, the bowling experience top-notch and the food excellent for an "entertainment complex." there's a whole afternoon of fun for the kiddies and a whole evening of entertainment for the 21-and-up crowd at night.
