head straight for the pho. i've been to king wok several times and love it. check the pho and the bun. they are both incredible, and stupidly cheap. this little hole in the wall is one of my new go-to restaurants, and just another addition to the already long list of spectacular ethnic restaurants around 38th and lafayette.

spicy pho is one of top items on any menu in town. a mix of spicy beef broth, pork rib, chicken sausage and flank steak? w rice noodles and cilantro. as good as soup gets. have taken a dozen different people here and not once did the guest not agree its one of best soups they've ever tasted.

the best place in the area to have amazing and delightful platters of vietnamese food items . all is freshly made and served at reasonable prices and optimal hygienic conditions with the help of a really nice and friendly staff as well.

this is my comfort food.  i've been coming here weekly for the past ~4 years and have never once been disappointed.

the pho is amazing.  the staple lunch menu of quick chinese dishes is great.  most importantly, everyone that works there is kind, courteous, and attentive.  i can't recommend king wok enough.

best pho in town. i've tried a few places, but you can't beat the best. while the place is a tad small, i've never had to wait to be seated even when it is busy. i compare all vietnamese places i go to, to them! if pho isn't your thing take a gamble, you'll love whatever you get! great service and they know you by name!

small place, delicious food. the restaurant is pretty small. so on a cold windy night and someone opens to doors to come in, the entire place can feel it.
the staff is very patient, timely and courteous. have a question about the menu? they do not get cranky and will answer all your questions!
i was recommended the pho dat biet, for it being the popular choice. i was in no way disappointed! it came out hot and fresh, with a huge amount of noodles.
i went on a risk and tried their "special vietnamese drip coffee with condensed milk". it was fantastic! the milk is sweet and when stirred the whole drink is delicious.

we got the hu tieu xao thap cam, or sautéed rice noodles with shrimp, chicken, beef and veggies as well ($6.99). the dish was enjoyable, particularly when you added a bit of the fish sauce from the crepe---and really i liked mixing crispy bits of the crepe in there too to give it a little extra texture. the noodles were cooked just right and were not gloppy at all. there were some bits of the meat that were a little tough, but some of them were very good. i enjoyed the bites of shrimp as well. overall though, flavor-wise, without the doctoring up, the dish may have been a little bland. but all of the dishes together made for a very tasty lunch. and very cost effective as well--you get a ton of food for a very reasonable price.

i've had better. their chinese food is great, but when it comes to their vietnamese cuisine, i'd rather go someplace else.

the special pho which has tripe in it, is not prepared right, because if it did, it would have the funny fishy taste to it.

their spring roll is skinny and small.

just ok. their chinese fare is ok, their vietnamese fare is ok. if you want the best pho and better vietnamese grilled pork, you should go to saigon!

crunchy noodles..... this is my fav dish of this place! i've tried the same dish at all vn restaurants in indy, but this place got it right!! the crunchy egg noodles top with savory sauce and sauteed vege and meat...omg...what could be better?? i love to put my chopsticks right down in the middle to break the noodles in half so it can soak up some yummy sauce...well, you have to try it to see what i mean! i always add some hot sauce on top...then it's time to chow down!
