usually good but ordered using menu log and got rice instead of calamari dish. check your order if getting delivery! need to get 140 characters to submit this review so padding out! still a bit hungry...

it took us two times to get in (first time was super busy) and was worth the wait. the skewers are so so yummy. was a bit disappointed with the pork belly, what ever it was coated in was not enjoyable. will be back to try more on the menu.

it was my birthday about a month ago and as one of my bestest and closest couldn’t make my official birthday dinner he took me out a week prior. win win for me, got to catch up with him and scored a free meal. the venue he chose was a thai restaurant in chatswood called khao pla, a venue i discovered was getting some online attention for being so bloody good. 

we were not disappointed in the slightest - just wow!!

great thai lunch spot in chatswood.  sometimes you have to wait during busy times as it is pretty small inside.  the food is served quick with minimal fuss. pay attention if you are told your dish will be hot/spicy (they really mean it!).  i absolutely loved the 'crispy bean curd with tom yum spice salt'. worth going there for that alone.  make sure you try a dessert as well  - really good.  enjoy!

i visited many years ago and recently went back. mind blowing my good!
banana blossom salad was outstanding and a must-order!
pork belly with chinese broccoli was great - more veg than pork belly but the pieces were crispy and not too spicy.
sticky ribs are also excellent but the serving size is best for 3 or more people.
can't wait to return and order another banana blossom salad!!

really good thai restaurant with very unique dishes. highly recommended the nashi pear salad which has pieces of fried fish (i usually don't like salads) and their green curry. the pork rib dish is awesome but the serving size has shrunk in recent times so i don't order it any more.

most dishes here are good but the noodle dishes aside from the pad thai are nothing special.

be prepared to wait a long time to get a seat. very busy restaurant doesn't allow booking under 6 people.

always wanted to try this place after seeing so many people lining up and manage to come here when there was no line

the food is your standard thai food, like the chicken wings though but thats a pretty standard dish and hard to get wrong

missable place imo

been to this place several times. they were busy each time. quite understandable as they do great thai food. haven't had a dish here i don't like. they range from good to deliciously balanced flavours.

good thai food, delicious and made exactly to order. fast and easy service and very good prices. staff were very friendly and polite. no reservations needed, you can easily find a table although the place is packed at any given time.

it's hard to find good flavourful thai in sydney but this place delivers. hard to get a table but you can put your name down and they will text you when your table is ready. good service. standout is the barramundi and ribs

one of my favourite thai places in sydney! however be careful a lot of the dishes are spicy.. like really spicy! unique and different dishes compared to a lot of the thai places in sydney. definitely a place to eat in!

tasty and timely, honest food. even though it was busy, staff made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. the pork belly was our pick of the several dishes we ordered.

been reading quite a lot of good reviews of this place so we're longing to give it a try since we're now in the 'hood'...

we waited for half an hour for our table so we thought this place must be quite ok....

isaan steak tartare - when c sees raw beef she just got to order it. i only gave a try for a pinch and wow was it salty... i thought the beef been pickled than dressed in fish sauce. it's also quite sour and hot but the salt just filled my palette and those cucumbers balanced it a bit somehow. even c could only eat few mouthful and gave up.

the pork skewers were typical affair of tender pork with a spicy sauce.... the sauce actually very good.

moo krob pad prik khing, wok fried pork belly, kaffir lime leaf with curry paste - one of dishes i use to compare with other thai places. this dish was quite good, the roast pork was nice cooked it retained the moisture and the curry paste coating was just right... not the best i had but certainly a lot better than some others.

yum nashi pear, nashi pear, crispy fish, shallot, dried shrimp, peanut, lime and palm sugar - we had a long conversation on this dish or the usual som tum and what a disappointment it was.... beneath the well presented chopped pear, herbs, fried shallot and peanuts lie a glossy pool of tempura fish fillet. the dressing already soaking deep inside the fish batter and the oiliness of the fried fish didn't help in any way that could convince us to have another piece... as the saying goes, 'beauty is only skin deep'....

overall we were left unimpressed with this place and maybe we'll try again and hope our minds will change for the better.

really smart thai joint. food was outstanding. we ordered ox tongue, grilled prawns and crispy pork belly. all of them were super yummy and excellent value. make sure you either go early or late to beat the queue. would love to go back again and try the other items on the menu!

damn son! firstly, can i just say how beautiful the food is and how efficient the service is? met up my friends for dinner tonight and i'm blown away (again).

considering it's a busy dinner time rush. i got a table in less than 20min! ordered a few dishes to share, only thing is the pad thai today is a bit bland. otherwise, everything else is delicious!

can't wait to come back for more!
