nice fresh seafood. we did not dine in, but went inside and bought two pounds of cold crab claws for $15 per pound, which was cheaper than the two grocery stores nearby. we also bought a very expensive frozen tub of crab chowder, conch salad and a couple of frozen crab cakes to take back to our rental for that evening. what a feast! but very expensive..but being from the midwest, we had to try something local. the only thing we didn't like was the conch salad...too much curry flavor and it overpowered the whole salad...that sat in the refrigerator all week...the other con inside the shop was the counter girls...boy, they are not friendly at all...lighten up girls....

luv it. we chose to come here after reading the high rating given on this site and were so glad we did. it's a order at window place which made it a quick serve so we could get on with our day. the food was absolutely delicious. my husband and i tried ghe lobster blt and we're not at a dissappointed. i highly recommend trying it and the lobster bisque was worth the visit alone, but filling. we split our samdwich and got a bisque each which was a good idea since they give you of of food. thumbs up!--

amazing! everything was delicious from the fresh fish to the fries! great way to start my trip in key largo! definitely recommend it!

the price is not worth it. the food was okay, but for the price we paid, you would have expected a nice restaurant with actual wait staff and air conditioning. fish camp food at fine dining prices.

came here because the zamato ratings were pretty high. i like the location. i am fine with counter service. but i must say the food was just average. i had the fried seafood "platter" (air quotes around platter) which was quite small for the price tag. and the fish was not as fresh tasting as i would have expected given that these guys own the adjacent fish market

outstanding fresh seafood and a wonderful outdoor space! their lobster blt is one of the best sandwiches i've ever had and worth every dime, i definitely recommend it.

wow! the best, freshest seafood we've had since being in the keys! crab chowder, fried shrimp plate, mixed seafood platter, caesar salad, plantains, and the lobster blt. we sat right at the marina as we watched boats come and go. very casual (disposable plates) and outdoor dining.

been customer of seafood market for many years. first time to eat at the backyard their outdoor restaurant. best fried conch ever. good prices. window service was very quick. nice outdoor eating area overlooking a marina and working boats. no indoor seating so it can be hot. still a great market inside.
still a great place to eat if you don't mind sitting outside overlooking a marina. good beer selection in bottles. soups/chowder excellent. many good places to eat in keys and this is as good as any.

perfect. on the water , order your food, find a waterside table. very fresh, delicious and good value. we had the lobster blt and mahi with spinach and toms. coming back next time we are in the keys.

wonderful retail counter; avoid the cafe. we have been shopping at the retail counter for 20 years - fabulous, fresh seafood - none better!!!

unfortunately the café is another story. the grilled mahi was like rubber, and the "mediterranean vegetables" consisted of cooked-to-death green beans, a few carrot slices, two inch-long yellow pepper shards, and an equally cooked-to-death piece of cauliflower. there are many many better restaurants in the vicinity (such as snook's, mrs. mac's kitchen, and others) at the same price, much better quality food, and actual table service! (the café is order at the window then pick up your meal when ready).

a disappointment, to be sure. not going back to the café but will still frequent the retail counter.

mahi & grouper sandwiches were delish! super fresh fish is their specialty and it shows. marina atmosphere will not please everyone but this yankee loved it!
