good food but bad service. for the second time this week i sat in there for over an hour with nobody else in the restaurant but one other table. after a few attempts to find out when the food was coming, i left. the third time i had to ask, the waitress could not even remember what i had ordered. i've been going to kerby lane for years there is something off about this location; good food but at least twice this week alone very bad service.

update: kerby’s upper management contacted me today and was very receptive to my concerns. they were very professional about what had happened and assured me they would implement further training. i appreciate them reaching out.

q: does this place offer biscuits and tomato gravy?

a: no.  but it's just as good as the other locations for your breakfast and non breakfast needs.

breakfast is so good at kerbey lane. i really like the godfather but there are others that are good also. this is my favorite breakfast joint so far. there is an outside patio. people are friendly and service is good.

best breakfast in town. try the migas with green sauce, uhmmmmm good. great pancakes and french toast.
just good all around food. but i prefer their breakfast food.

if you are going to kerbey lane, the menu items can be a little bit hit or miss, but they are usually creative and more fun to try than most things at chain restaurants. and, in my opinion, you can never go wrong at kerbey if you order the queso and pancakes.

great spot!. we stopped by kerby lane for brunch before heading out of austin to points west. the service was perfect (thank you blake!), and the food was great too. this is a very busy spot, featuring locally sourced food. seating is handled efficiently despite the high volume, and the kitchen served up our order rapidly. the coffee here is really, really good - the best we'd had during our 4 weeks on the road so far. the fried green tomatoes were delicious and nicely spiced and the specialty pancakes are worth trying (different daily, ours were raspberry lemon). 10 out of 10 in my opinion :-)

great, great, great option for those with dairy allergies. fantastic food, great service, super-good vegan options. the vegan queso is very satisfying as is the espresso/peanut butter cake.

blue cheese jalapeno bison burger. obviously scared enough to write a review. they had run out of carmel flavoring mix for their carmel-chocolate battered pancakes... so the only option was chocolate pancakes.
the bison burger looked delicious though and i had man sized hunger.
honestly it had great potential, but the cajun sauce used just overpowered everything. when the sauce interacted with the jalapenos the overpowering spice intensified. onions weren't truely carmalized, more soggy and just kinda thrown on their. the blue cheese did nothing to neutralize the cajun sauce. couldn't taste the rich leaneness of the bison meat either. if you order this get it w/o the damn sauce

for all the people who dislike kerby lane cafe well at this location you just didn't get the right waitress :( you need to make sure you get sarah to wait on you if you can she's the best person there!!
