in scorching heat of vanarasi, the cool shade of kerala cafe was a delight. and to find such tasty south indian food in this part of the country was a pleasant surprise!

loved their crispy dosas especially the rava dosa, had to order a repeat one! :-) vada was average and cold coffee was good. missed filter coffee which was surprisingly not on their menu...

overall good food, recommended...

been to kerala cafe quite a few times.. the place provides good food at reasonable prices. also the service is quick. it is situated at a good location, hence easy to spot..

kerala cafe..the name itself reflects the southindianness of the place. a place for cheap and quality south indian food. even southindians do appreciate the food.
anytime you visit the place just try a new dish be it in dosa, uttapam or rice category. rava masala dosa, onion uttapam and imali rice with extra curd should always be the first to try. in the end cold coffee with icecream would just be cherry on the cake.

average food with plenty options. good for budget birthday parties. if you are feeling lazy to go to sri naivedyam, then kerala cafe is your place. ;)

come here for cheap and best.

the special uttapam they serve is the best uttapam you can find in the city.

the cafe opens early in the morning at 8 am which makes it a nice place to fill your empty stomach after watching the sunrise.

kerala cafe, a south indian cafe located in banaras, is one of the good cafes in banaras. it serves south indian food. we ordered idli sambhar, uthapam, masala dosa and cold coffe with ice cream. all the preparations were good in taste. but the sambar was very sour that day. the coconut chutney was tasty, made of pure coconut. the cold coffee was also good and very soothing for a hot day. the ice cream used in it was very creamy. mineral water bottle is also available at mrp. the prices are reasonable.

the ambience is good and hygienic. also, has a place for hand washing thats very hygienic.

this restaurant is superbly located and quiet popular in banaras. the usp is value for money for reasonably good south indian food. i got there with high expectations but it disappointed me :(
we ordered rawa masala dosa and idly. your speciality is south indian but you can't make good sambhar and chutneys then of course it's disappointing! i have had better south indian food at lesser price so price is not the issue, it's their preparation which matters. what can i say.. one eyed king among blinds may be?

it has decent and pleasant ambience, staff is cordial. sambhar and coconut chutney are nice. idli and vada too are nice. but dosas suffer the authenticity of the south. however, if you are not that particular about authentic taste, you can savour the sojourn here.

if you wanna eat south indian at sigra then this is your destination. other snacks are also good.good food at reasonable price. ya but the place is little bit crowdy and conjusted!

famous for dosa but do not found even dosa good. not happy with the food. food was tasteless with hygiene issues . unhappy with the service too. not worth of spending money and time.

one of the most crowded place in town.
good sitting arrangements , staff polite.
this place is full every time you visit, the rate of different dishes is nominal.

kerela cafe has a speciality in south indian dishes ,though there menu has few chinese and other dishes.

dosa at this place is good , not the best.
uttapam was also very good.
lemon rice with sambhar gave a totally different and refreshing taste.

although known for south india chole bature of this place won't disappoint you.

the only restaurant i have been which serves bournvita , i personally like cold bournvita with ice cream.

also , rawa onion masala dosa is great.

kerela cafe, the very famous and crowded cafe which famous for its dosas, idli sambar, chole bhature, uttapam etc.
the actual authentic south indian food available in varanasi is present in a restaurant beside ip vijaya mall.
i've visited this authentic south indian vegetarian restaurant a number of times and i've never had a complain. the staffs are friendly and polite. the service is quite quick. the foods quality is absolutely perfect and the sambhar and chutney are so irresistibly tasty. they even offer you the sambhar and chutney as many times you want them.
it is also very pocket friendly. kerela cafe is one of my favourite restaurants to visit when i am hungry.
