kat's cafe leaves a bad taste in my mouth. i have only bought twice from kat's cafe. both experiences were horrible. the first time, i bought a pepper steak pie. it was stale and cold on a monday morning. today i bought 2 samoosa's, which should have been cheese samoosa's @ r6.00 each. there was no cheese in there. i wouldn't even give it to my pet to eat. i initially wanted a toasted sandwich, but i was told that there was no one in the kitchen.  not impressed!

great place to grab a quick bite to eat while filling up. the food never disappoints and the menu offers a wide variety of food and illy coffee

service: good, staff are always friendly 

location: good, in the shell garage, not very far from work for me so its easy to just drive in and out 

prices:they are pricey.the prices of a sandwhich( a basic one) is quite ott. i just get coffee here.

menu: you can grab a coffee, sandwich, brownie here. 
quite a nice café selection if you are willing to cough up the price

this little pit stop is always convenient, only the best quality italian illy coffees, a small range of freshly baked goods and excellent ciabatta loafs made fresh in front of you once you have picked your topping from the display. 
my only gripe would have to be that they tend to label my ciabatta's incorrectly. for example, this morning i ordered the chicken and avocado which is precisely what i got.. however with a roast beef label on it ;)

*recommendation: great cafe for a good quality coffee and bite to eat, if you are (in a hurry) and in the area.

great high quality food. staff always friendly and quick. illy coffee never disappoints. love the healthy options. wide variety of choice from salads to pizza and everything in-between.

this is truly a place of convenience, i was hungry when we came across this place. i loved the place because i was so hungry and most of the food was displayed in the display case they do prepare certain meals but for the most part,what you see is what you get. the service style is a little weird we had to kinda flag someone down to help us but the manager noticed and be did speak to his staff about that and apologized for the inconvenience.

yummy food. conveniently located,quick and easy to grab a take away sandwich, coffee or salad. the staff are always friendly and efficient.
