kashi chat bhandar

place was crowded but service was fast.
i would give it a 3 star rating, as chats wasn’t crispy as i expected.

dahi was less initially , you can ask for more if you want.

tomato chat was more like potato sabzi and aloo tikki tasted like more of dosa aloo. but it was okay okay.

worth a try but taste could be improved.

food is good but delivery time is very long , but delivery person response is very good (mr raj)

all the food was spoiled due to bad packaging. we ordered aloo tikki, pani puri and tomato chaat but everything got mixed up as the packaging was not at all appropriate. worst experience with zomato and kashi chat bhandar.

aloo tikki was packed with all the ingredients and by the time i got it, it was too soggy. i thought that all ingredients would be packed seperately and i can mix it so that it would taste good. but what i got was a soggy mix rather than crispy and tangy tikki.

this happened for the first time but i am disappointed

its legacy can be determined by the huge crowd it attracts every day. be it the natives of varanasi or the tourists, kashi chat bhandar caters to one and all, with its amazing range of chaats, pani puri, and snacks. this little place is located in godolia, at walking distance from kashi vishwanath mandir.

we had a tiring day after playing the role of a tourist and stopped here for some sumptuous snacks. yup, crowded, did not get a table, waited for 20 minutes. ordered papdi, bhalla, panipuri, tikiya, and a couple of items more. must admit, great taste, and it's not hyped.
go for it. but they should think about expanding the area. it's very congested.

had been to kashi chat bhandar on my visit to varanasi. the intent was to discover what the hype is all about and i was certainly not disappointed! it's a small , no fuss eatery. if you are lucky , you may find a place to sit otherwise it is best suited for a takeaway. the place was too crowded and it was a struggle to get the order !

i tasted tamatar chat and samosa chat. samosa chat had flavourful chole and tasted really good. what stole the show was the tamatar chat ! it was quite flavourful. they had also added potato to the chat. it's a must try !

overall , had a great experience at kashi chat bhandar. i see some reviews mentioning that the place is over hyped and the taste isn't the best in varanasi. however , i would beg to differ. kashi chat bhandar actually serves delectable chats ! 1 extra point for the delicious tamatar chat. at 30 rs per plate , it's definitely a steal !
