great local spot!. my husband and i ordered take out from k town bistro and enjoyed every dish!!! as i approached the resturant, i noticed how quaint the white tablecloths looked in the dimly lit atmosphere and thought what a romantic place to enjoy a fantastic dinner! we had heard great things about the bistro and i was excited to try it tonight! we started with the soup of the day which was an all vegetable, no diary squash soup. we also had the lamb sausage, lobster ravioli, beet salad and the blackened salmon, all outstanding well seasoned dishes! they even threw in dessert on the house!! i strongly recommend this local resturant!

the price versus quality of food is very poor. it's not quite authentic french food. the presentation and combination of food items is non-sophisticated and tastes very bland. if you're looking for an expensive atmosphere with poor cuisine, this place is for you. if you're a foodie and looking for great taste and real french food, i would look elsewhere.

we've dined here two or three times now. the owner takes a lot of personal attention in the service and activity. the menu is not extensive, but this is good; care on a few selected items is much better than a lot of choices done inconsistently. the salads have always been very good and they usually have some nice approaches to the soups. the entrees we've tried have been very good, including an interesting south american fish.

great dining experience. my wife and i have eaten here about 10 times now for lunch and dinner and we always enjoy it. you can easily be heard above the soft music and the staff is very attentive. the food is incredible for kensington -- try the oysters and the desserts. the owner is former headwaiter at the watergate restaurant. we highly recommend ktown bistro.

the food is excellent!. k town bistro is a small, intimate restaurant were you can actually have a conversation with your table mates and hear one another. i have been to k town bistro numerous times and have never been disappointed. in fact, i recently hosted my mother's 90th birthday party there and every single person, including the teenagers, was very pleased with their meals. the staff is always friendly, gracious, and ready to accommodate and request. there is ample free parking in the area.

a new restaurant in kensington!. right on howard avenue below the safeway. been there twice now, not a large place but it's not easy to park in kensington anyway. owner is very active and attentive, not a large menu but this is good - they are focused on getting things right and they do. specials have been good, they do a good job with seafood.
