this resteraunt is a perfect place for a good meal for a good price. the service was very good and you are greeted with a smile. there are many food options and most of them are decently cheap and still tasty. however, the atmosphere is a bit cheesy and dull and the couches are way too far from the table. but, overall, my experience here was great and i'll be sure to come back again.

just plain disappointed. i recently had my second dining experience and was once again disappointed. my sandwich came with "left over" lettuce, unripe tomatoes and was served on pita bread instead of a roll, as described on the menu. the chicken was overcooked and the fries were completely greasy and under cooked. my boyfriends meal was just as bad. when i dine out my expectation is that it's going to be better than anything i could make at home. is that too much to ask? i will try to chalk it up to them getting used to the new location.

i've been meaning to try this place for while based on word of mouth & also reviews from here & yelp. my wife & i shared the full philly/ny cheese steak along with some garlic parmesan fries. the cheese steak was honestly the biggest one i've ever seen. the taste was just as good as the portion too, melted cheese, tasty steak, bread that didn't get soggy quick & the veggies weren't bad either. the fries were delicious, very much reminded me of 5 guys fries which remind me of boardwalk fries which are my favorite. service was also good, friendly & quick.
i would definitely recommend daves to a friend & i will definitely be returning to try their breakfast. keep up the good work guys.

out of towners. the food seemed like it was going to be good...unfortunately, i was unable to place a delivery order because the woman who answered the phone was so incredibly rude and unhelpful when i asked about delivery to my hotel.

good food and pleasant people. i go to just plain dave's every so often. they have incredible burgers with all sorts of options to choose from. i am also a big fan of their subs. last night i got a roast beef sub there. it was packed full of meat (boar's head), the roll was nice and soft; it was great. every time i have gone there the staff has been friendly and pleasant to deal with. they also have a nice basket of sweet potato fries that you can get as a side order.

their location is close to parkway exit 135, so i can stop by conveniently and grab a meal to go on the way to a concert at starland or the arts center.

this place is horrible. i just got told that our order was wrong because they are short staffed ... umm there was no one in that place ?!?!?!?!?!?! 2 servers 1 cook and no patrons....... and my sandwhich which was just turkey cheese on a roll... $7.25 and no platter just a sandwhich!!!!!!

just plain ridiculous... and over priced and customer service?!?!?! more like customer chastise....... this was not the first but it will be our last time ordering from just plain ridiculous....

theindus3. i have eaten there two times since i opened my salon, and i loved the food and the people at just plain daves>>>> which to me isn't plain with their food 5 stars!!

cheese steak supremacy. last week i stopped in at jpd for lunch and ordered a traditional cheese steak (with extra cheese, onions and mushrooms). wow! my pallet was in heaven. this sandwich was enormous and the roll could barely contain the heaping of steak, onions, mushrooms, and cheese! i have eaten at jpd a few times over the past month and each time my experience is better than the last. i understand they just introduce a new hamburger call the $12 hamburger! this burger is certainly on my to do list. again, i highly recommend jpd for any meal of the day... you won't be disappointed!

best burgers around!. just plain dave's in clark, nj, is a great "home town" neighborhood restaurant that serves up really good burgers. i am now a huge fan of their biggie mack!
this double beef delight is one to die for!!! the fixings that were mounted on this jewel of a burger were lettuce, tomato, fresh raw onion, pickles, mayo, american cheese and more… all standing tall on a fresh sesame seed roll.

this place was packed for lunch and after biting into my burger, i can see why.

did i mention how good the fries were too; seasoned and cooked to perfection. this was a great burger experience and i'll definitely be back to try the ribs.

my family and i come here all the time and absolutely love it. the food is always awesome and they have quite a few unique menu options. i definitely recommend it!

love the food at just plain daves. our office orders 3-4 times per week for lunch and it's always great. the quality is really good - always fresh - and i don't think i've ever ordered anything that i didn't like. they had a little bit of a rocky start with the staff but they worked it out and it's one of my favorite places. the burgers are great, love the salads, and their sandwiches are fantastic. it's a good value for great food. i would recommend daves to anyone!

best comfort food. if your hungry and want to satisfy your appetite with top quality food served in generous portions and prompt, then this is the restaurant you need to go to. they have many items and dishes on the menu to choose from, from black angus burgers, unique delicious salads to nightly hearty entrée dishes, in addition to breakfast being available all day long. the staff is welcoming and friendly, and it's always a pleasure to eat there or just stop by and say hello.

burgertastic. i can't think of any place i would rather go to get myself a hamburger. the options with sizes, bread, and toppings are perfect. every time i go my foods always cooked to the temperature i asked for which you can hardly ever find. plus you'd be hard pressed to find a better house made fresh french fry. also might want to check out my favorite unique menu appetizer from jpdaves which are the breaded and deep fried green beans with ranch sauce.

just plain delicious!. nothing plain here! just some great food. don't let the little size of this hole in the wall place fool ya. the food is amazing, and i think the fries are wonderful. yes, they are crispy! great burgers, delicious panini's and breakfast to die for. all for a reasonable price. try the chicken quesadilas. you won't be sorry.
