we had the mild spicy grilled whole fish which was literally the best that i’ve ever had! fish was deep fried so the skin was so flavourful and a bit crispy and the meat was so tender inside. we also ordered some extra veggies and meat to put into the pot which were so delicious with the fish soup. the cold dish was also very tasty.

family owned little restaurant, cosy and accommodating. the lady owner was super friendly.
highly recommended this little gem for grilled fish!

best fish in auckland!!!! a very nice small family restaurant that offers fresh fish, beautiful presentation & fabulous flavour. huge sizes and we ended up taking half the food home. i have been looking for a descent fish restaurant in auckland for a long time and definitely found what i was looking for at jun grill. highly recommended !!!!!

a whole fish covered in sichuan spice? combined with hot pot? juns grill fish serves up a classic for those cold wintery nights, although i’ll confess that i did come dine in during summer. we went with the classic sichuan flavoring and wow that was hot enough. 

the fish gave a nice seafood flavor to the broth which was great for your tofus, meat/seafood balls and vegetables. 

there stringed potato and cold sliced beef side dishes were scrumptious! so if you get the chance do try out some of the side dishes.

it is a small restaurant. it is not flash. however the grilled fish is delicious, beyond our expectations. the fish is fresh, good sized and well cooked to its perfection. we are satisfied with every dish we ordered. the only suggestion is i hope they can improve the interior condition, that would certainly attract more customers.

this place is so underrated, it definitely deserves more 5 star reviews! i've never had amazing grilled fish such as found in this lovely small restaurant. we got the spicy grilled fish & spicy eggplant, and they were both absolutely delicious! the spicy grilled fish came in a hotpot on a burner and the sauce was so tasty. service was surprisingly really good, given the reputation of service at other chinese restaurants nearby. the lady who served us was very polite and smiled throughout serving us, she's so lovely. definitely coming back and gonna bring family and friends over!

i believe it offers the best grilled fish in auckland. initially, we were a little worried that the food would be a disappointment because of the littile reviews. to my surprised, every dish we ordered is yummy and we love this restaurant! the service was friendly and the dishes warmed my heart.

grilled fish served in spicy hot pot is a very popular dish in china. the price only starts from $29, and side vegetable and other meats are only about $4-$8 each. it is very cheap, even cheaper than the price i paid in china. you will get super full under $50 for two. 

as a fan of spicy food, i only order the hotest one, the fish is well prepared before cooking in the hot pot. the skin is crispy and the meat is fresh. it becomes one of my regular places for casual dinner.
