friendly staff. great coffee and huge portions that’s what’s to be expected at jennie’s route 30 diner. the hubcap pancakes are amazing. great food and great prices. foodfather approved!!!

nice just off the touristy area east coast diner. i enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff. the owner was there and although pr is probably not her gift she was pleasant. the wait staff was friendly, helpful and rather funny. it felt like a bit of a step back into time and i liked that. the food was solid diner food. i usually temper my expectations based on where i am actually going. this is a roadside diner car and it did not disappoint. good portions, more than we could eat. well prepared diner staples with some added options. i'd choose this over the chain places near the outlets when i'm back. i mean just look at the pictures in other reviews.

breakfast is insane here - good old greasy spoon breakfast - i got a grilled cheese with bacon and the portion of bacon was enormous and generous i can't believe it. their oj is fresh, definitely try it out. enjoy

amazing breakfast, the pancakes are huge and so fluffy.  we love this place and our kids absolutely enjoy the atmosphere each time we go.  great staff and friendly service everytime.  been here 7 times now and can't wait to go back.

my boyfriend and i went here for breakfast and the food was good, typical diner food. nothing special, really. i had an omelette and my boyfriend had scrambled eggs and toast with bacon. the bill ended up being a lot more than a typical diner, but i didn't care much because the food was good and the waiter was nice. but throughout our meal i kept hearing who i assumed was the owner occasionally yell at employees. when we went to the cash register to cash out, there was a girl who had to have been around 10 years old running it and she accidentally made a mistake on the register and had to ask for help from who i was assuming was the owner. this would have been no big deal to us because everyone makes mistakes and she was only a child, but the owner started yelling at the girl, telling her to get out of the way and that she's going to have to "do this all over again". i reassured her that it was just a mistake and that it was okay, but she then snapped at me and yelled at me saying that now her register is all messed up. yelling at a child employee for an honest mistake, and then turning around and yelling at a customer? not okay. especially over something so miniscule. clearly doesn't care about employees or customers. never coming back.

very good breakfast. pancake were twice the size as anywhere i seen, ham stake was oversized and done just right. a great breakfast diner with outstanding service. all price right.

no bueno. service was friendly but the food was awful! who cares if the portions are huge and the price is cheap if the food is just barely edible at best? it might be a good idea for them reconsider being open to the public 24 hours a day, and close down a few hours daily and really clean the place up. seriously, it looks pretty dirty in the dining area. i hate to think what the kitchen looks like, especially considering how vile some of the food was.

sorry folks, don't do it. worst meal ever. garden salad laying in pool of water. corn and cucumbers straight from the freezer or can. beef tips swimming in so-called gravy. the place needs a good cleaning. you can find better eats in or around lancaster. trust me!

good diner fare!. we had breakfast at jennies. the 6 oz rib eye and eggs with homefries was good, and the eggs benedict with homefries also was a fine example of how breakfast should be: quick, tasty, cheap and plenty of it. the homefries came sans onions but were easily added without hesitation.

just had dinner with my husband at jennie's diner. had a delmonico which was a bit fatty but fully three times as big as i expected, a delish baked potato and the best cucumber salad since my grandma passed.started off with seafood gumbo and finished with blueberry pie. the service was great with an enthusiastic young waiter..all for about $45 and that included a generous tip. go there !!

highly recommended. a true american diner serving up huge portions with fast, friendly service! the food was fabulous and the prices were fair. will absolutely make a return visit when in the area again!

the food is definitely large portions. the place is small and the booths are a tight fit. it's a good place for a late night snack but don't expect a lot flavor. friendly service by the staff is a plus

pork chops were good and home fries were very good. service is efficient and friendly. the only negative thing i have to say is i would not recommend side salad. it is a thin slice of tomato on a bed of lettuce, nothing else.

the food here is wonderful! however, i must say one thing: portion sizes. i highly suggest sharing but you certainly won't regret it. the 50's diner mood is also very much present, not to mention the wonderful staff. over all, definitely a great place that i highly recommend!
