jj's is a middle of the road, not very clean place, especially the restrooms. and don't even think of this place if you are in a wheelchair, they don't know what ada stands for. service was fair and food was just ok, not fresh and the bacon was rare not cooked, i asked for brown sugar for the oatmeal and received white powdered sugar, the worst part is that they overcharged us on several items and added a couple of things to the ticket, "watch out for over charging" they don't know how to place orders that have what you want, they break items apart and do al a cart.

jay jay cafe is one of those places that has great home cooking and there seems to be something on the menu for everyone. they also have reasonably priced meals for light eaters as well as senior plates. stop in, it's a great place for the whole family.

don't eat often but i did tonight and the food and service were excellent and we had 20 people in our group the waitstaff performed great, prices are super reasonable and the pies- oh the pies are drop dead wonderful
do yourself a favor and go the jay jay

really nice breakfast. have always had really good homestyle breakfasts here. pancakes, waffles, omeletes, etc all excellent and at a good price. service is generally very friendly in that old-school diner sort of way (lots of "huns" and "shugs")
tried lunch once and just thought it was merely adequate and kind of bland.

just ok - not great - disappointed. we tried the location on green oaks late on a friday evening. the food was marginal. the fried chicken was rubbery. the floor was dirty and the place looked like it needed a good cleaning. too many other good places to eat for the money. the wait staff was very friendly and attentive (saving grace of the evening).

fresh comfort food
made daily

great pick for a very good meal. the cfs was one of the best i have had in more than a while. the black eyed peas were nicely seasoned with sweet onion ... i.e. ... home made rather than out of a can.

check them out. you can't go wrong.
