good coffee...terrible event locaion.. if you plan on getting a coffee and leaving...its a good place. if you're trying to rent a room for a baby shower...no.
we rented the "wine cellar" this past sunday for my baby shower.
i’m not sure how anyone could call a basic cold concrete basement a wine cellar.
i understand most people would’ve gone by and looked at it and approved it before signing the agreement but i live in texas and my sister, who threw the shower for me, lives in alabama so it was out of the question.
my sister told me they ran her debit card without even sending her an updated invoice or total. i am livid this happened.
and be prepared to pay a 20% gratuity. gratuity? i knew before i agreed there would be a 20% gratuity but seriously? the 2 ladies working that day were horrible! they seemed put out and did not want to help anyone in my party.
the only thing they did was bring us a pitcher of water, tea and punch. that was all they did.
during set up and tear down a few of us went upstairs to buy coffee...they seemed unbelievably annoyed. they seemed annoyed by everything we asked...and we did not ask for much. ice and toilet paper.
that’s all we asked for on top of the drinks they brought down to us. ice which to me is common sense when offering drinks at a party. and toilet paper...really? anyone needs toilet paper...but especially a baby shower!!
the shorter lady was at least cordial...the taller lady was just nasty. rude.
i will not recommend java vino for any event...i will actually recommend not to use your establishment for anything.
the coffee was good...that’s about it.

love love love. they have the best coffee in town. the staff is very knowledgeable and will make recommendations for you, and in my experience everything they've recommended based on my coffee preferences have been amazing. as long as i'm in atlanta, i won't buy my coffee anywhere else, it's my favorite!

to me, this is the biggest appeal of java vino. it's a cozy feeling place. comfortable couches in bright sunny spots, tables for work in less sunny areas, and a very clean overall feeling. there could be a few more seats, but i think they have a winning formula that they shouldn't mess with. the art's also a nice touch.

cafe excellence!. to me, java vino is the definition of a corner coffee shop. it's comfortable and welcoming in all the right ways. it's small, in a very cozy way. it's friendly, in a neighborly way. the menu provides everything you'd need from a coffee shop during the day, and from a local hangout bar in the evening.

for a nice glass of wine or smooth cup of coffee, java vino is the place.

good coffee. while the coffee was good, folks behind the counter seem a little occupied with things not customer related. not a big deal, but add to that an egg sandwich that appeared to be a molten microwaved egg on a stale bagel and i'll probably not go back. seems like a great place for regulars though...
