jal jalebi & beyond

had come here earlier in 2007 and it had drastically gone downhill. worst experience any diner could have, bad food for which we had to wait for over an hour, in unhygienic and unwashed crockery

when the restaurant does not allow outsiders to dine, how can it be a part of the zomato review too. i mean, if there is nothing to do in the restaurant then what can we do.

probably the place with the most classy, serene and romantic ambience with a breathtaking view of the river, near aiims. we had the breakfast buffet. food is tasty, fresh and palatable for the stomach. staff are impeccably dressed and very courteous. we had buttermilk, sizzlers, fresh baked bread, cheese and paneer items. fruits and dessert of various types were also present. there was hot beverage also. gobi, aloo and paneer dishes were yummy. price was ok, not exorbitant nor cheap. the place serves pure vegetarian delicacies, though. for a non vegetarian like me, sometimes vegetarian diet is enjoyable.

i recently stayed at ganga kinare rishikesh and i decided to have two of meals at jal jalebi & beyond and honestly, that was the best decision of my life.
i tried their pizza and honestly speaking it is one of the tastiest pizza that i have ever tried. also, don’t forget to try their cheese sauce pasta because it is simply mind blowing.
and since the name of the restaurant is jal jalebi & beyond, i decided to try their jalebi too and it was so good that i cannot describe it in words. jalebi was thin and crispy and the flavour of desi ghee was ohh so good. jalebi is highly recommended from my side.
not just food, but view of ganga from the restaurant is breathtaking. you will definitely fall in love.
further, i decided to opt for dinner buffet and honestly, i loved it to bits. there was so much variety when it comes to the buffet, everything was delicious right from starters to main course to desserts.
if you are in rishikesh, i would definitely recommend you to try food from jal jalebi and beyond because it is awesome.

i stayed in ganga kinare hotel in which they have their restuarant by the name jal and jalebi. the location of the restuarant is very beautiful along with beautiful ambiance as well. they have lots of variety of mouth watering dishes. from starters to desserts, everything was perfect. also their special dessert is jalebi so do try that.

this place is just woww... loved the ambience and the service... went here for dinner and ordered cream of mushroom soup which was perfect.. for trying something new, ordered paneer chilgoza and it was heaven... loved the food .. garlic naan, manchow soup and kadhai paneer were great too....

loved the place! we went around 5 pm so the menu was limited to beverages, appetizers and pizzas, but we did not regret eating here, one bit. great service. the view and ambiance were great. would definitely go back if i'm visiting rishikesh.

overlooking the popular 'sai ghat' and ganga, this place will give you the perfect rishikesh experience and more. be it any time of the day, this place surely is the best way to spend it. i recently spent an entire evening there and trust me it was surreal!

in the evening, we preferred the outdoor sitting and had pizza and sandwiches alongside the ganges and watched the sun set. this place has its own private ghat and we got to experience the ganga aarti there which was followed by tea served for all the guests.

for dinner, we sat indoors and opted for garhwali thali and it was accompanied with live music. they have dinner buffet daily and lunch buffet on weekends and the spread was super amazing.
the garhwali thali was a 3 course meal, the starters - gahat soup and gahat daal tikki served with bhaang chutney, the main course - paneer, aloo, pahadi arbi, pahadi rajma, gahat daal, palak saag with gahat ki roti (i loved this) , and for dessert - jhangora kheer and the absolute favorite of all - bal mithai.

we were overwhelmed with the whole experience - the location, the view, service, elaborate menu, buffet, ganga aarti, live music - everything just added up to us having an amazing time.

i'd most definitely suggest this place to everyone around and everyone visiting rishikesh.

i had ordered paneer tikka wrap, and it was the worst food i have ever tasted.... wasn't properly cooked, tasteless and packaging was worst too.. overall bad experience

the garhwali foodi was horrible. we booked a day before and when we reached they had no clue. they made the food within 15 minutes.. everything was raw, tasteless,watery, overall extremely bad.

horrible chinese food at exorbitant prices. boiled noodles for haka noodles, watered down tomato sauce for chop suey., etc. avoid this place

location and food as well hospitality all is just awesome . private ghat as well , very peaceful place to have dinner with family or alone to relax. end the meal with jalebi and rabri...

a real definition of riverside lunch , having a lunch here was a real fun and omg their food was amazing ,we ordered margheritta pizza , mojito and paneer tikka trio and everything was just amazing. staff was polite and prompt ,if you guys are not even staying at gangakinare ,you should try this place just for the pleasing view from theri balcony.

if you planning to visit rishikesh please visit this restaurant also. their ambiance is so good and they serve fresh and delicious food. and their buffets are amazing 😍 i will really loved to visit this again

best experience in rishikesh at this beautiful place. the food was delicious and service was nice. tried their margarita pizza and coffee. the food was reasonable in price. highly recommended place!
