jal - a jungle restaurant

the food is really good. they accomodated our request of an onion free gravy, which was really good. who knew onionless food could be this interesting!
the place is managed by two really nice ladies, which is so refreshing to see. the non veg food is pretty rad too. 10/10 would visit again.

we arranged a special romantic dinner as an engagement present for our friends. the decorations were awesome.. ambience and service was very good.. food was good.. they enjoyed a lot and jal made it happen.

what an amazing experience yesterday we visited.... superb place very good decoration all i can say pleasant place... fulfilling expectations... n d open air dinning best one.. food is superb.. staff is very cooperative..thanks jal for making it so memorable...

we ordered following from their menu:
1. crispy veg: now when you order crispy veg you expect atleast 5-6 veggies sauted or grilled with appropriate seasonings and sauces. but wait we even didn't know what we ate!! 😦😦
2. french fries: if a restaurant can't do french fries good, then its time to close your shop and do something else. well french fries were satisfactory. but dude you can atleast give some sauces to eat them with. mayo was literally the worst home made mayoneese ever eaten.
3. pasta (alfredo): pasta alfredo is pasta in white sauce which was good (not great but better than most of the restaurants in indore)
4. egg curry: ever eaten a sweet egg curry and a plate of egg curry with only one egg (and the egg was fried too 😫😫). these are the basic things a restaurant owner should know.
5. kitkat shake: it looks like they made the whole kitkat shake with one kitkat only. less chocolate more milk/milkmaid/smp whatever it was.

ambience: it is basically in the backyard of some remote house at khandwa road. so thumbs down for ambience.

service: poor and longing service. we wasted around 45 mins in total in 90 minutes waiting for the attendant to attend us (that's 50% of the time we spent there 🤐🤐)

scope for a lot of improvement. wouldn't recommend to others. sorry.
