istanbul grill became my favorite restaurant after just one visit. i've been working my way through the menu and everything is delicious. great service, great atmosphere and awesome food. definitely give this place a try.

always consistently excellent. we took our children here for their first real exposure to lenten foods, and they agreed it was amazing. service was first class and the atmosphere was terrific. the flavors of all of the foods are spot on, try out the specials they are great choice.

fabulous customer service and even better grub!! we loved the ground beef dish and the rice pudding! i would go for the hummus instead of the baba ganoush.

istanbul grill is a family owned and operated turkish grill located in a strip center in southern arlington. the emphasis here is on grilled meats with mediterranean appetizers and side dishes. we started our meal with the hummus ($5.95) made with mashed chickpeas, garlic and tahini paste. the hummus at istanbul grill is some of the best hummus i’ve had at a middle eastern/greek influenced restaurant anywhere in the area. this appetizer is recommended.

my husband and i have eaten here multiple times. everytime the food has been wonderful. the patio is dog friendly too. the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. our favorite appetizer is the haydari with pita bread and also the ezme. i highly recommend the lentil soup too. my husband usually gets the mixed platter and my new favorite is the chicken adana. this is a byob restaurant.

i'd never had turkish food before, so didn't know what to expect. the atmosphere of the cafe is excellent, which is a trend that carried through my entire visit. everything about this establishment was top notch, definitely stop in if you're in the area!

this is a cute little mediterranean gem located in arlington, tx. the place offers your typical mediterranean selections. honestly it was all good food, but definitely nothing mind blowing. we did however enjoy the gyro plate and the moussaka. the restaurant is also byob, so keep that mind if you like to ‘throw em back’ like we do. lol

we had dinner there last night with friends and really enjoyed it. the atmosphere is very nice, the service excellent and my moussakka was perfect! the hummus was the best i've ever tasted and served with warm fresh pita bread.

this place is simply amazing. the food is an art form in itself it's so good. it takes you overseas. i've lived in azerbaijan and morocco and it felt like being back there. highly recommend this place.

our home away from home. my husband and i eat here 3 to 4 times a month. we feel like part of the family. everything is fresh and delicious. my favorite place to eat. why go anywhere else? enjoy! byob is a bonus!

how have i not yet written about this slice of heaven?? with all our travels, this is the best turkish/mediterranean food we've ever had; agrees our european friends! amazing history in the recipes and care-level of turkish staff. the best gift these turkish brothers could give the metroplex: istanbul grill. plan ahead with a group to get an official tour of the region and menu. make your "i don't eat strage food" friends belivers! btw, it's a byob establishment!

istanbul grill - great food and fun for the family. we tried istanbul grill last friday based on their urban spoon rating and we were so glad we stopped in. a small family restaurant with a good crowd at 7 on a friday night. the owners gave us great pointers on the menu, especially for kids at 15,12, and 10! my picky eaters loved it. we started with the hummus (best in arlington!) and then the 5 of us shared the mixed grill, iskender, and the moussakka. the moussakka is so far probably the best dish i've tasted this year in my travels around the us. think turkish lasagna but with eggplant, zucchini, beef, and potatoes. getting hungry thinking about it!

if you want to try something new, in a fun and new then please give this a try. did i mention the belly dancer that started about midway through dinner?! the kids loved that.
