it was just ok. this was our first visit and i was anxious to try it, the menu looked great. our service was awesome and the wine was good. the food, however, was kind of mediocore. we started with the bacon pastry, good but not as flavorful as we had hoped...a little too bready. the tomato /mozarella was nice, the flavor of the bacon added a good touch. we followed up with the pasta, which was good but not great....again just a bit boring. the mussels looked intriguing with the sauce offer but they were over cooked and tough, the sauce described on the menu was mixed with the broth and hard to find. i really had high hopes and was hoping for an amazing meal. it was not bad, just not amazing. for their prices i want amazing.

our stomachs took us to a new place in town, called isa's bistro, for lunch. it was a fantastic little restaurant with an outside patio-great for people watching. captain seahorse had the risotto. he loved it! he is still talking about it. i had the mixed leaf sald with salmon and, of course, a st germain cocktail. it was all wonderful. sitting outside people watching with a breeze made this experience so much better.
