favourite chinese restaurant. my family frequently drives 30min to eat here. menu prices are very cheap for a fancy restaurant, quality is always good and you don't need to worry about cleanliness or whether seafood they serve is actually live. complimentary soup is really hot and nice (but i think it's better on the non-promotions nights). roast chicken is a unique dish which they do really well, usually freshly hot and moist with crispy skin. abalone, mushroom and sea cucumber pot is the other must try. they also do a great peking duck special on wed nights i think, $29.95 for whole duck or $19.95 for half duck 2 ways i think.

overall, iron chef was an extreme disappointment. despite the lack of flavour in the dishes, it was the service which was most appalling. when the table was set up, the plates and serviettes were chucked about in a terrible fashion which was just one example of the poor service. in regards to the quality of the good, our dishes were very bland, proportions were small and noodles resembled 2 minute microwave noodles except with a quarter of the flavour. definitely won't be visiting this restaurant anytime soon and would not recommend it.

the food service was fast fast fast. the waiter comes over and we immediately order plates and plates of dumplings – which is immediately steamed and served.

huge chinese seafood and yum cha restaurant - perfect for big group dinners. great service and decent prices.

the wasabi beef and mud crab are my favourite dishes from this restaurant. their yum cha isn't as good but is decent. be prepared for massive lines during lunch time.

this place is a hit or miss, where some days the food can be very good and some days the food can be bad. it’s a frequent place where my family goes for either yum cha or dinner because its affordable compared to other chinese restaurants around the area. majority of the time when we go in, the food is pretty good and their fresh live seafood for dinner time is good as well. customer service can be improved though, you ask them for one thing and minutes later you see them doing something else forgetting our request and we have to ask another person to get what we want. overall, food is good, and the atmosphere is quite standard for a busy chinese restaurant.

i came here for my family reunión dinner on new year’s eve. we didn’t make a reservation beforehand, they only have a few tables left near the entrance.
i didn’t like it but actually it was still good, the staff are caring and always checked on us.
the food is at good quality.
the only issue i noticed is the bathroom’s cleanliness.

a childhood favourite of mine! we would hold all our celebrations at iron chef, serving up yum cha during the day. personally have not been here at night but i always loved their dim sums, due for a visit soon. it is a little pricey but for the taste, it's worth it!

this used to be my yum cha place to go to. however, now they have changed owners it isn’t as good as it used to be. the yum cha dishes are very over priced and the dim sums are horrible tasting.

a horrible experience. we asked for calamari, so the waiter asked us if we wanted yum cha size or big size. the waiter rushed us for an answer, so we answered big size considering there were 4 of us eating. annoyed cause the waiter did not even explain the difference between the two to us, because it’s our second time eating there.
the boss got called when we said we were unsatisfied with the dish, that we couldn’t eat salt and pepper. the boss rudely told us to ask for more information when getting a dish and that our dish could not be returned to the kitchen. she rushed off and left after that.
our friend’s first experience of yum cha was ruined because of your lack of service.
also, 9 small pieces of “salt and pepper squid” costed us $26.80. very overpriced. would have been more affordable at the fish market.

my favourite yum cha restaurant it is a rather large place but unless you get there early it is take a number time but well worth the wait the food is great.
i have been there for dinner several times the al la carte menu is extensive with the wasabi beef being a standout for me service can be a bit rushed but not rude or bad the place just goes at quick pace.
