my favorite coffee shop! wonderfall staff with awesome attitudes! have never found a friendlier coffee shop in all of oregon. also, whoever designed this shop has great taste love the oregonian vibe here with art etc. great coffee and great prices too! :)

i love the iced tea at insomnia- the earl grey and green are my go god. the chai is also fantastic! they gave soy, almond and hemp milk for your non-dairy needs and they make a decent latter. the coffee is a bit too dark of a roast for me but if you are into that you'd enjoy it.

sometimes a man just needs an aztec mocha. don't judge me.

self tipped. not happy that they helped themselves to a dollar tip. i don't drink coffee much so i'm not loyal to anywhere specific. they are close to my house so i've gone there often. this crossed the line however so i'll never return.

insomnia coffee is one of the cutest coffee shops in the portland area. it’s a little bit off the beaten path from portland but definitely worth the drive. i met a girlfriend here for coffee last week by her recommendation and i’m so happy she told me about this little gem. i wish i lived closer! the decor is rustic but glamorous. all the tables are made from whole trunks of trees and are the focal point of this beautiful shop. insomnia coffee shop has three locations: tannasbourne, baseline & cannon beach. they sell local artists as well in their shop so check out the walls for unique pieces from portland area locals. i had a really hard time deciding on what to have. typically i just get a drip coffee because that does it for me. but there were two things on the menu i kept going back and forth for about ten mins. the real carmel latte and the tahitian vanilla frappe.  ohh mama what do i choose? i knew with either i really couldn’t go wrong so i decided on the…….. wait for it! wait f

the blended drinks ("frappes") aren't any good. the texture is worse than frappuccinos from starbucks. i also don't really care for the service or for the square terminal they use at the counter.

i do, however, enjoy the stuffed duck on display. the task is to guess the duck's subspecies and enter to win a prize.

if you love chai tea you will love insomnia. best chai i've ever had hands down. it's christmas in a cup!
