only the name of this place sounds somewhat like that vintage old eatery in some city's main square serving piping hot n authentic food using their secret 'masala' laden curries our, agree that with changing times and tastes one needs to be always geared up for introducing something new n creative but at what cost..?? it was specified regarding the food that it's for people associated with 'being corona warrior'.
i appreciate zomato n guys roaming around in such scorching heat on empty roads and that too with full precautions, right from scarves, helmets, masks, gloves, shoes, sanitizer, thermometer etc. just coz they want rest of us to stay indoors in these testing times. we are getting our plate right here under our noses enjoying in our swanky air conditioned rooms and thanks to zomato who made it possible. did any one of us ever asked water, glucose or any sort of refreshments while receiving food..?? many would have asked and when i offered them they politely declined coz he is roaming around and meeting new people irrespective of he is healthy or not and they don't want to infect us. it's these zomatoers'who are playing the biggest role in breaking the virus chain. in wateva experience i had with them, i learnt that zomato never says no and are always one of the very few home grown company which is keenly dedicated to serve the nation and play their part of 'being-corona warrior's. all said and done now have a look at attached image which clearly shows that food is spilled inside and eventually has spoiled other items as well (3 containers had loose packing and the curry had a nice time peeping around). rider before leaving the restaurant showed this to the staff and asked to repack it as this needed to be delivered n served to healthcare staff working tirelessly in the field with special focus on hygiene and neatness, but restaurant dint bothered and this spilled and messed up food was served to those who are working tirelessly (without complaining ) so that such places could carry on with their business . i could have easily taught a lesson to this shanty place run by some insensitive and rude bunch of hoteliers but commuting from jhalwa to civil lines for food could definitely wait but our involvement in making the city a safe place for fellow countrymen couldn't. this act of taking 'for granted ' is definitely gonna hit their next gst return statements. lucky they got one star as i had to write this essay. never expected actually..
