how do they hide the jockey's strap marks. went here late night as they were recommended as best late night restaurant near harrison nj. waiter was in rush to get order so service was poor throughout entire meal. my son and i both got portuguese steaks which was pretty good despite not being cooked to temperature ordered. my poor wife suffered through steak and shrimp special that had undeveined smelly tiny raw garlic shrimp in a puddle of fake melted butter. her steak was purple raw and full of so much grizzle and vein that she literally attemted to chew through two small cuts of steak and 1 ea. shrimpbefore giving up. when the waiter asked if she wanted it wrapped to go she told him it was terribly unedible to which he replied "oh" then handed us the check for all three meals!! stay away!!!

"instant regret" the food was terrible. the meat that we ordered was not cooked properly... we ordered filet mignon and it smelled as if it was about to turn (in color and taste). the cuts of meat are cheap and the sides look like they came from a frozen blue box. no need to describe any further...you don't want to eat here.

worst steak ever. the filet is flavorless and terrible. the meat had a smell as well that indicated it might be a very bad cut and low-grade. the kabobs are an array of grey colored meats with tons of fat and gristle making them tough to chew. every side is a reheated version of itself from vegetables, fries and rice.

food plentiful but not the best try another portuguese restaurant in newark if you want good.

very good as long as you are not expecting fine dining.... the food is hearty and plentiful, the service adequate at best and the presentations are more about bounty and less about pretty. that said, everything we had was cooked well, flavorful and big portions. they had lobster (2 for ~$30) cooked one of 4 ways - our group tried it each way and each way was fresh and good. their garlic lobster got the top rating from the group, crab-meat stuffed second and the broiled third. sangria (red) was very good but expensive given how much ice is in the pitcher therefore it yields only a few glasses. busboys are more important than the waiters as they are the ones that look after you once the order is taken - you only see the waiter for your order and the check.

eh not for me. i wasn't to thrilled with the food they didn't de-vein the shrimp a no no in my book. i didn't like the fact that they wanted to argue about it as oppose to correcting the issue. i won't be back.

awful service, we went for a date with my husband.. service was horrible.. waiters just rushed to take the plates out of the tables so we can leave and they can use the table for somebody else. they were jsut rushing us so much... service was horribleeee..!!! dont waste your money going there

awful. do not ever go here! i am so disappointed with this place. we use to go here a few years ago but found another place that we liked better. we figured we would try it again and we were so upset at the service and the rodizio. i brought 20 friends and family here for a birthday. the rodizio made it around to the table a handful of times and then the staff just grabbed our plates and pushed us on to desert. one person did not get rodizio and they forgot her meal. we will stick with fernandes instead of iberia. i could not believe that they added on 20% tip! this place is doomed!

has been around for decades and offers great food. their rodizio is amazing and sangria is some of the best around. there are other places the local portuese population prefer but iberias offers accessible delicious and fresh food.

the seafood for two was not fresh, it tasted like it was prepared hours before. the service wasn't friendly. i will never go back.
