great drinks and great service. the drinks were quite exotic. the bar tending were very friendly and had many drink recommendations as well as conversing with customers regularly to make them feel comfortable. does get a little bit crowded though.

absolute beauty for a night out or midday drinking. the place overlooks the harbour, and the interior is gorgeous. the cocktails taste and looks amazing, but i would expect the food to be better coming from a pullman. worth to mention that some of the wait staff are totally gems of the outlet, but the rest of them just looked like that couldn't be more bothered.

if you are looking for the epitome of the nsw lockout laws (thanks gladys, the figurehead of secret political power brokers) please come to hacienda. at 8.50pm you will experience the "light show" of lights dimmed/lights on/lights dimmed/lights on and final drinks call. also, if you do want beg for a drink, this is the place for you! in short, if you want beautiful harbourside views, satisfactory decore, maximum 1 drink (if you're lucky to get served) and to get home by 9.30pm, this is your venue!! #keepsydneyopen

i think i just had really high expectations, definitely not a bad experience i just found that little things kept going wrong! the food and cocktails were lovely. just felt like the service wasn’t all there for the prices that you are paying! not sure if it was just they were understaffed this day? still, nice atmosphere, great views. would go back

we ordered aloe you ($22) and harbourside hibiscus ($22). refreshing and lovely to drink next to views of the harbour and the stunning interior.

those photos are reality vs expectation.
no decorations for the drinks, even the glass was different. and it costed me 20+ bucks?! those drinks were really horrible.
besides, the steak was apparently over cooked. the staff did not ask me how would i like the steak to be cooked. it was chewy and the texture was not right.
lastly, the staffs. not all of them were horrible. but one of them accidentally hit my fd with his elbow, and left without apologizing. also, it was my birthday and my fds hoped to give me a surprise. they asked the staff to serve the cake but the cake wasn’t serve in a plate and the staff just brought out the cake with the box?!!
it was actually not a big deal - however considering the price of this restaurant, the customer service is very poor. in conclusion, i won’t recommend it to any of my fds.

the music is intense!! it feels like you’re in a club and you can hardly hear one another talk.
i used to love this venue but i feel like it’s changed hands?! the view is amazing don’t get me wrong, however it doesn’t make up for the extremely bad service. my friends and i went to have a nice drink whilst watching the sunset on a saturday night. it was table service due to covid regulations yet we struggled to get a servers attention every time we wanted something to drink. the worst part was that it was at least a 25 minute wait for just a bottle or glass of wine to arrive once we ordered and that’s when the venue only seemed to be at half capacity. putting all this aside, the roaring club music from the late thousands and the sickly sweet cocktails were the nail in the coffin. rip what was once a really great iconic sydney venue.

the beef burger with fries, harbourside hibiscus and pornstar martini cocktails were good. the staff were welcoming and friendly. there was a bit too much ice in the hibiscus harbourside which would be better for the summer, not for winter though.
the prices are a little high here.
would recommend here with friends for drinks, food, friendly staff, good atmosphere and view.

location! location! location! hyde hacienda bar located in the pullman hotel has some of the most amazing and beautiful sydney views that you could ever see! it’s located directly opposite the sydney passenger terminal where the cruise ships dock and we were fortunate to see the majestic princess there. it’s such a lovely harbour view. .

i came here with my friends after dinner on a friday evening. because i do not drink, i ordered a guava juice. the bar staff were really friendly and charismatic. the cocktails that my friends ordered looked really pretty.

what i enjoyed about hacienda was the ambience. the glass windows made it feel very spacious. the decorations are also very nice. seeing the harbour bridge lit up was definitely the highlight. the live jazz music with a saxophone player was lovely to hear.

too pretty not to visit while in the city. cocktails are very expensive at $23 each but look at those views and the beautiful interior. the cocktails were inventive and i adored the “jam jar” with little tart, it even looked like a jam jar! too cool!!

ambience: pretty pink interior complemented by greenery with a view of circular quay and harbour bridge.

service: staff was friendly-enough but there was only two waitresses for the entire area so it was really hard to flag them down to order a drink or order food - very understaffed while the bar had 3 people ..

ordered:
•trio of selected dips w. tortilla chips ($17) - nice tortilla chips with avocado dip, sour cream & beetroot. i wasn’t a big fan of the beetroot dip even though i’m okay with eating beetroot but the other 2 dips were alright.
•arancini frijol ($20) - arancini balls there delicious but were really tiny.
•smoked fried wings w. hot sauce and pickles cabbage salad ($22) - right amount of hot sauce and can’t go wrong with wings.
•mojito sliders w. grilled chicken, kohlrabi slaw, cucumber and mint aioli ($22) - small and expensive, taste was okay.
•fresa spritz cocktail w. st.germain elderflower liqueur, strawberry syrup, soda water, prosecco ($20) - light cocktails and had 2 people walk by and asked what cocktails we were drinking.

overall: lovely ambience, great food and views but staff was heavily understaffed and food was quite expensive.

i attended a function at hacienda today and was disappointed by a number of things. firstly, the wait staff were obstinate and arrogant, in relation to requests i had regarding food allergies and simple orders for food. secondly, whilst there was a pre-paid tab, the wait staff appeared eager to dispense of it (and us) as quickly as possible, providing 4 cocktails of the same kind when only one had been ordered and encouraging us to order expensive alcoholic cocktails. thirdly, upon being told we needed to leave the function area as the bar tab had been consumed we requested a copy of the bill, as based on the menu prices and the number of people consuming alcoholic beverages, it seemed inconsistent to what we were being told, the wait staff did not provide a copy of the bill evidencing the expenditure or that the tab had been reached but rather offered us more drinks (which was at odds with the tab having been used up). fourthly, the tables with people seated around them talking remained full of serving platters filled with the remanence of  eaten food and consumed serviettes, together with empty glasses for a number of hours, so that we could barely place our arms comfortably on the tables whilst talking. wait staff infrequently attended to the area, despite the rest of the bar being empty. overall, the best part of the whole place was the view, which you don't need to attend hacienda to enjoy. next time, i'll do myself a favour and attend one of the many other amazing bars, with hospitable service, friendly waitstaff and good food along the sydney harbour foreshore.
