taste was better... this is the first time.. we dint like the food.....the parotas were not flaky, it was thick and hard... like it's not been cooked well.. onion raita was too sweet.. ( sugar is been added to supress the sourness)...

the kurma and vadacurry were extremely spicy. chutnies were not provided at all. pathetic experience!

i am the regular customer of alankar hotel but today chutney was not good & kindly to maintain regular taste

lets get into the deeper part of kancheepuram and explore their cuisine. this made me remember when i asked my mom "kaancheepuram landhu vangitu vandhingala"...
haha,it wasnt brought from kancheepuram but brought from their cuisine and rocking the variety of idlies in india.

this was kancheepuram idly from hotel alankar, vellore. here they serve it in different shape(thattu shape) and not the usual tumbler shapes, garnished with ghee, coriander and cashew🍛. costs only rs.30/- served in the evening from 6.00 pm.
this is situated next to the old bus stand, vellore.
