teramisu birthday cake. i ordered a teramisu cake and i called in with only 2 days to go until i needed the cake, i got friendly service and she ordered my cake and helped me. i then called at the time i asked to have the cake ready and it was ready right on time. i got good help on the phone both times. i went in to pick up my cake and there was one oerson ahead of me then a bunch of people walked in and were ahead of me, and the girl signaled me and helped me next. she got my cake and had me go behind the counter to see it before closing the box, it was beyond what i had hoped, smothered in chocolate shavings with a beautiful white frosting on top with the inscription i had asked for done in chocolate to match. i could not of asked for more then this. i asked her how to cut this teramisu and she told me how and even gave me some pasty slips telling me to cover the ends to keep it fresh after the cutting of the cake. it was outstanding customer service, she got me some scones and joked at the register with me, i had such a obosite experience then all these people on here. i have gon to hoffmans now for over 10 years and i still get more then i hope and the customer service was remarkable. i would go over and over again. the chesse/onion scone was beyond good as well. i ended up tipping her $1.50 for picking up a cake and a scone. that was how amazing she served me. the cake is gorgous as well. about the decore, i prefer the cozy over the snobby, it is comfortable with the most exceptional choices of cakes and treats. i would make this drive over an over. maybe if more people whom had great experiences there made a note over just the ones that did not, you all would get to experience some of the best baking around and the price for a large teramisu cake that feeds 25 at $41.oo was not unreasonable for what you get ...fair in price, great customer service from start to finish and great bakery goods, what more can you ask for? really..
