ho chai lai

good food. big fan of stir fry noodles and hotpots. we were highly satisfied with the service crew. the ambiance is nice especially at night. we ran into this restaurant on the way to tagaytay, and for short hindi kami nabigo. lahat kami busog sa food. but we had a problem with a janitress in the building. while we were using the comfort room, she was mumbling while mopping the floors. we then noticed that she was staring at some of us from top to bottom while mumbling. we asked her if she had a problem with us and she replied with a "ha? bakit?" then rolled her eyes at us. so we then left the comfort room nalang fearing for our safety. the janitress even cursed while we were leaving. anyone can come here, the service and food is excellent, just avoid the ladies washroom of the building.

one of the best restaurants that serves authentic oriental chinese cuisine. great quality of fresh dishes. restaurant usually gets crowded, ample parking space on the sidewalk. great place to eat with family and friends. highly recommended!

this has always been our family’s go-to restaurant!!! will rate this 5/5. must try: hototay soup & ho chai lai chicken 💖 also, they offer complimentary hot tea - just ask for it 😊

ambiance- perfect for celebrations and gatherings

food- super great! their ho chai lai siomai is one of the best i've tasted, as well as their shrimp fried rice and hoisin chicken. actually, all of their food tastes really good. as for the price? totally affordable and worthy.

i've been to this place for so many times i lost count already and the food hasn't changed a bit. if you're looking for a good chinese food, this is really the place to be.

the only thing i'm not happy about them is they usually don't have stocks for the whole menu. one or more item would always be unavailable.

typical chinese place with decent prices and good ambiance. their dumplings are one of my faves. the service may sometimes be slow if they're packed but it's not that bad.

i bet most families would always have that go-to chinese restaurant for most special occasions. i remember going to this chinese restaurant called ho chai lai (which is very near our village). it will always be the most convenient and nearest legit restaurant for us (mga taga-sanlo heehee) the dine in place we go to after school recognition or birthdays. ha ha ha good thing about the restaurant is that even up until now (that i learned to really appreciate good quality food) wala akong masasabi.. they really offer sumptuous food in a very reasonable price range! i wasn’t able to take lots of photos when we last visited but i really enjoyed their stuffed squid. it’s very unique and delicious! di lang siya yung puro breading like what i previously posted hehe i believe ho chai lai is also available in manila, so if you get a chance to try it please don’t forget to order their crispy noodles. super sulit guys. the serving was huge! wala akong photo nakakainis haha
