good eats... the wife and i were looking for something new and found a new regular spot. the ladies working the tables are awesome. the breakfast burrito was filling and fresh. the bagul sandwich rocked. the cookies..... omg. i hope my gramma doesn't read this, because the cookies and lemon bars blow hers away.

breakfast. i have been meaning to check out the hilltop cafe, and now that i had a weekday off, i did. nestled within the hilltop business center the hilltop cafe is a clean, quiet, modern breakfast and lunch spot. the staff was friendly, the meal well prepared and tasty, reasonably priced, and topped off by watching the olympics on the flat screen. i will return, on a future weekday off, and recommend the hilltop cafe for breakfast or lunch.

delicious surprise!. i only wish that i would've discovered hilltop a long time ago. we used to live one exit off the 217 from here and never knew it existed. it's in a business park so you'd never even think to drive in and see a restaurant.

i discovered hilltop while attending some refresher real estate courses. the owner is a doll and all the girls are always friendly. myself and about 6 - 7 other realtors ate there religiously all this week. their freshly made kettle chips are delicious - although i didn't eat a single thing there that wasn't.

i begged the owner to open another location - but i suppose that could defeat the originality and the atmosphere they have there. hilltop cafe is just the perfect "mom and pop" restaurant. love the food, love the girls - one of my new favorites!

mothra says... good menu, service & smiles, illy coffee.. i have been looking for a diner in the tigard/lake oswego area for some time. i still have yet to find it. k and i did however, pop into hilltop café in tigard just off the 217 this week for a late breakfast/lunch. clean, small, modern and designed for the breakfast and lunch crowd for the nearby office buildings, we were met with a hello and smiles. the menu is varied and the coffee is illy: a big plus for us. (my friend bill t, illy rep for the sw & much of the west would be proud).
sarah took our order: k had the albacore tuna croissant w tots which was fantastic, and i thoroughly enjoyed my hot ham and swiss on sourdough with tots & the homemade pepper relish. honestly, i could have done without the relish. tasty relish..... just a little soggy. in and out in 35 minutes, and under $20. a nice restaurant with good service. we'll be back when we are in the area. 3.2 of 5.0
